For example:
• Volume rocker: Push UP/DOWN to adjust volume; press and release quickly to MUTE.
• Long-press Volume button: Hold for more than 1 second to access Accessibility Shortcuts.
• RETURN button: Press to go back to the previous screen or menu; when watching TV, it takes you back to the previous channel.

Samsung Picture Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There was no audio out ports, optical. I had to purchase a earc extractor to get my sound bar to work. Just three hdmi ports is insufficient , cable, roku, earc, No spot for a DVD player. There are many user who have legacy equipment and we feel short changed. Some users may just buy new equipment, I'm not one of them. I will have to find a work around for an additional HDMI port. Picture quality is very good, but the construction feels flimsy, but time will tell if it is durable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Difficult,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the available voice features for the U8000H. While the U8000H remote does not include a microphone for voice commands, the TV is compatible with Alexa through an external Alexa-enabled device, such as an Echo speaker. Once connected, you can use voice commands to control supported TV functions and compatible smart home devices.
Here are the steps:
1. Download both the Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings apps, if you don't already have them. Both are available for iOS or Android devices.
2. Make sure your Alexa device and TV are both connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
3. Your TV must be enabled within the SmartThings app. If not, make sure you are signed in with your Samsung account on the TV: Settings > All Settings > Samsung Account
4. Log in to the SmartThings app with the same Samsung account. Tap Devices, and if your TV isn’t already shown, tap + to add it to the app.
5. In the Alexa app, enable the SmartThings skill and sign into your Samsung account. This will automatically connect your Samsung TV to Alexa and let you use voice commands to control your television.
