I hate the Samsung t.v. It took a long time to set it up. Now I can only get 3 local channels.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi,
Thank you for your review. If your U8000H TV isn’t receiving all available channels, first check that your coaxial cable is securely connected. Then, try running Auto Program by going to: Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Broadcasting > Auto Program
If the issue persists, a factory reset may help: Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Factory Data Reset (this will restore all settings on your TV)
Please also note: • Broadcasting settings are only accessible when your source is set to TV. • These settings are not available when watching TV via a cable or satellite box.
If you continue to experience issues, please don’t hesitate to contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). LiveChat agents and additional resources are also available through the ‘Support’ link on our Samsung website.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Samsung 65” class crystal UHD 4K smart TV the picture is incredible clear bright it’s never too dark or too bright the movies are amazingly scary actions are like you are there!!! The first time had me jumping off the couch. I love everything about this TV from the amazing sound to the quality picture.
Not a bad deal for the money, but sharpness could be better. Not crazy about the remote,

Hi Lstal,
Thank you for your feedback on the Samsung U8000H TV. If the picture appears unclear, dull, or lacks definition, there are several settings you can adjust to improve clarity and overall image quality. Go to: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings, and review these key settings:
Picture Clarity Settings: While originally intended for motion handling, these can also impact overall clarity • Off: Disables motion enhancements • Auto: Automatically adjusts based on content • Custom: Lets you fine-tune: o Judder Reduction – Helps smooth out uneven motion o LED Clear Motion – Boosts sharpness in fast-moving content o Noise Reduction – Reduces distortion and enhances detail in lower-resolution sources
Core Picture Settings • Brightness – Controls overall screen brightness • Contrast – Enhances the difference between bright and dark areas • Sharpness – Adjusts edge definition; closer to 20 increases detail • Color – Enhances depth and intensity of colors
And don’t forget to check for the latest firmware, which may improve performance: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now
These adjustments can make a noticeable difference in overall clarity. If you need further help tailoring the settings to your preferences or environment, please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). LiveChat is also available via the ‘Support’ link on our website.
My Samsung Smart TV is Awesome! I love it. The clearest picture I have ever seen. I think it is the best TV I have ever owned. Only thing is the remote w/the microphone icon - so you can use Bixby - was not included. I had to buy an additional one. The remote I cannot get open to change the batteries. I have watched videos, chatted with AI - nothing works. Not sure why it was made so hard to open.
