The price is what it is! The old saying goes if you need to ask how much it cost you probably can’t afford it anyway! I haven’t built a Lego set in over 30 years other than kids ones. My 6 year old and I had so much fun building this set it made it worth it to our family. Colors are great, so many moving parts that I had no idea were in the set. Yes there is some wasted space, they could have probably included more stuff off of the front frame or maybe even clear side pieces to make it more “authentic” but this was fun to build. I marked it a 1 for playability only because I don’t think this is a set you play with. This is a display piece. The instructions make this so easy to build, thank you Lego.
I don’t usually criticize Lego items. I think the builders and creators are brilliant. How they think just amazing. This one they did the scale too big. I could not figure out what I hated. I saw my friends and boom it hit me. Every is ocean size in an aquarium. I think if they had scaled down the beauty would come out. This is just a bunch of Lego from different sets trying to make a model. Granted some items in the set are great. Orange coral, seaweed well done and others parts but not together in an aquarium setting box. More crowded trying to hard. The idea is wondering but finished product a hot mess.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love scuba diving and almost had to buy this set. However, for not much more, I bought a Nintendo Switch 2 instead. I can't believe how close these two products are in price.
