[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s perfect wouldn’t change anything about it. It has an instant boil burner, which is just really cool. I love it and then there’s a simmer. Boil burner as well and I really love that too.

Quite an upgrade from my older GE model.

Gas smell while gas range is running

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The experience has been that when the gas range is turned on there is a gas smell that emanates from it for several minutes. A service call was put in. The tech informed me that that have about one call a day for this problem and that a new burner needs to be ordered for it. Our home builder installed this range and I wish that I could have picked a different brand of appliances.

Great gas range

This range has the right mix of large and small burners and the oven is spot on for temperature. The range is stainless steel and black finished and fits in well with our other appliances. I highly recommend this Frigidaire gas 5 burner range to everyone looking for a good value and good performing self standing stove.

Regarding the odor when heating the oven, this is actually a common occurrence during the first few uses. New ovens often have a protective coating on the interior that can produce a slight smell as it burns off. This usually disappears after a few uses. We recommend running the oven empty at a moderate temperature for 30–60 minutes to help burn off any residual coating, and ensuring your kitchen is well-ventilated during this time.
