New Frigidaire Gas Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Frigidaire gas range. The features I love are the evenness of the oven baking, easy to turn on the oven . I love that the oven has the steam option for slow roasting my beef roasts and I have tried and love my air fryer for chicken wings. The burners are easy to reach and turn on. The temperature controls for burners on top work beautifully for my pancakes, puddings, and soups. I do not need special cookware which saves money.

Lighting and controls are perfect. Some noise with the convection fan, but not unreasonable. Caught a good deal with holiday pricing.

One issue. And it’s really bumming me out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is a great new range for me. I’m having one unfortunate issue. The grated are getting black oily paint all over my pots and pans and it’s nearly impossible to clean. When I do my hands get all black and oily and when I place the pots anywhere heater they touch gets black. I’m assuming this will stop eventually. But it’s awful. Aside from that, the stove is everything I wanted. But … ugh.

In many cases, this can be related to residual manufacturing oils or coatings that may remain on components after production and initial use, but it should not persist or continue to transfer onto pots and pans with regular cleaning and proper break-in use.
We recommend thoroughly cleaning the grates with warm, soapy water and drying them completely before use. If the issue continues after a few uses, it may require further inspection to ensure there is no defect with the coating.

Frigidaire gas stove

The stove has to offer. I am a lot of reading to do, it was a great deal I’ve used the burners more than I have the stove itself and I love how quick it lights up
