Absolutely my favorite Range ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range is the best one I’ve ever owned and hopefully it will last for a very time time. We had another brand that was less than 3 years old and needed multiple service calls for repair. The final time, the tech advised that the inner cabinet was irreparable and had bowed out, which caused all racks to collapse; major safety issue. Manufacturer wouldn’t accept it and claimed only electronics were covered in
our 5 year warranty. Fortunately, the retailer gave us 100% credit for an exchange and we landed on this one. I’m a home baker and cook daily and having a great range is essential. The pull out sliding rack is amazing; I no longer have to pull out my heavy Dutch oven or casserole dishes, and it glides back and forth with no effort at all.
Having 6 burners, with a flat top that can be swapped in, makes meal time so much easier, especially when feeding a crowd. I still have lots of learning to fully appreciate all that my range can do, but I’m confident that run through all of the different settings over time. Oh, and something not found on many ranges these days are the actual metal control knows, not just plastic covered but fully metal. There’s nothing to not love about this range and it’s worth every penny to me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the look and it fit perfectly. The burners are very powerful and so far the top is easy to keep clean. The oven temperature seems to be true since baking breads have turned out great. Even if the temp was off, that can be adjusted. The only thing I found odd is the only way to know what mode you have selected for the oven is the small print on the knob when there is a perfectly good screen that should show an icon for the mode selected.

Oven Rack Chip Issues

The model has issues with the oven rack guides and the racks fitting too tightly. Moving the racks to different shelves causes small chips on the rack guides. Those chips cause tiny shavings to circulate during convection modes, which may get in the food. We have had two models delivered with chips. Went back to the store to look more closely at the showroom model, and it also had chips. Seems to be a design issue of tight-fitting racks causing rack guides to chip or a problem with the oven enamel coating on the rack guides.

Gorgeous Appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've only had our range for a few weeks, but so far it's been wonderful. After reading the reviews, I had so much anxiety over whether to proceed with this purchase, but I'm so glad I did. I admittedly have a lot of features yet to try, but for basic baking and stove top cooking, it's much better than my previous GE profile. One of my biggest concerns pre-installation was the possibility of the grates scratching the stainless steel cooktop. I am a pot/pan flipper/shaker and I wasn't sure if I was setting myself up for disaster. However, I can attest that these grates fit very snugly in place and do not move while I do my flipping and shaking. Yes, it does require care to put the grates back on the cooktop after cleaning, but a little patience goes a long way. Very impressed so far!
