Great keyboard, very responsive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice solid keyboard with raised quick response keys. Took some time to feel right after coming from a flush key keyboard. Nice selection of backlight effects and colour. More than enough length usb cable which is also removable from the back of the keyboard.
Very quick response time and much better than my old razor keyboard.
You do need to install some software to change the back lights.

A good sized keyboard that reaching the keys needed during play is easy.
Good value for money as does exactly what it says it does, and feels sturdy and has a quick response on key press.

Excellent Keyboard for everyday use

Build quality feels impressive, and I love the RGB lighting - makes the keyboard easy to use in a dark setting.
Only downside is the fact you need to plug it in to work as it’s not wireless.

Takes a bit of adjustment, but worth it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I came to this from a Logitech wireless board with silent, soft-touch keys, so the first few days were an adjustment. The travel is deeper, the keys have real resistance, and I found myself typing harder than I needed to while my fingers worked out where the actuation point sat. Mistakes were more frequent than I expected for the first week.
That passed. Now the click has become oddly satisfying, and going back to a mushy membrane board feels vague by comparison. The 1800 layout is a sensible compromise too, keeping the number pad without eating the whole desk.
One caveat. My wife sits in the room next door and I suspect she would offer a rather different review of the "click click click". If you share a wall with someone, factor that in.
Four stars, with a small deduction on behalf of the household.

A fantastic compact gaming keyboard with customisable RGB, solid build quality and a few compromises when it comes to everyday typing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HyperX Origins 2 1800 comes really well packaged and presented, with everything you need included in the box. The keycap puller is a nice touch and comes in handy if you want to swap keycaps in the future.
I like the compact layout as it still manages to include all the keys I need without taking up loads of desk space. The RGB lighting is bright and easy to customise, so it's simple to get it looking exactly how you want. I also like that the USB-C cable can be disconnected from the back of the keyboard, making it easy to pack away, transport or replace the cable if needed.
For gaming, it's excellent. The keys feel responsive and comfortable to use. However, the compact layout does take a bit of getting used to, especially if you're coming from a full-size keyboard. I find it's not quite as comfortable for typing as it is for gaming.
One minor issue I've noticed is that the keys are very sensitive. Sometimes if I rest my fingers on them, I accidentally press a key or trigger a sound without realising it.
Overall, it's a great gaming keyboard with excellent lighting, build quality and features, but the compact design and sensitive keys might not suit everyone.

Good quality, stylish and nearly silent

It feels very high quality, and when typing the keys make no noise which is great. The lights look very nice, going as bright as you like with a vast array of colour options. Overall I’m really pleased with the Origins 2 1800, and look forward to using it for years to come.

Very sleek and durable .. cool led lights

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This keyboard is spectacular in lots of ways.. the keys feel so silky smooth and doesnt make any noise when you press it. I love the led colours and the black they go together well. The size of the keyboard fits perfectly within my gaming set up and it was a huge upgrade to my last keyboard. Its not bulky or in the way of everything else i have on my gaming desk. I would reccomend this keyboard to my friends. I also love that you can switch the keys around or get a cover for the keyboard. The keyboard will definitely last for years as its made very well and worth the money.

Super easy keyboard to plug and play

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the HyperX origins 2 keyboard for a while now and it's awesome. Setup is insanely easy, basically just plug and play. I also love the RGB lighting, it's easy to change between solid colours, rainbow or a heatmap style mode which colours some surrounding keys as you type. It's quite a weighty keyboard so it doesn't slip or move around on my desk.
