[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having spent significant time with the Galaxy S26 Ultra, it stands out as an exceptionally refined, powerhouse device that addresses several long-standing user requests while introducing genuine hardware innovation.The physical profile of the phone is immediately impressive. It feels notably slimmed down compared to prior generations, measuring just 7.9mm thick and dropping weight to 214 grams. The flat 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display is gorgeous, offering vibrant colors and an excellent 2600-nit peak brightness that makes visibility outdoors seamless. The standout feature this year is the hardware-level Privacy Display. Being able to toggle this setting to shield the screen from side-angle viewing is incredibly useful for security, especially when inputting sensitive text or looking at notifications in public spaces. The Corning Gorilla Armor 2 glass also does a fantastic job of mitigating reflections.
Performance and Battery Life
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, the device is incredibly fast. Moving through demanding multi-tasking interfaces, rendering high-resolution media files, and heavy mobile gaming cause zero lag or stuttering. The thermal management is well-optimized; even under heavy continuous stress, the internal vapor chamber keeps the chassis cool to the touch. Battery life remains highly dependable with the 5,000 mAh capacity, and the best feature is GALAXY AI!

Slight step up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went from a S26 Ultra 512mb to the S26 Ultra 512mb. Some of the areas that need changed, upgraded are as follows: add an SD slot to add up to 1 TB card. Second: battery. You really need to go to a 10,000mah battery. 5000mah acted no different in either of my phones, reason is we are depending on our phones so much for everything. I had to recharge my phone by mid day. I get the feeling that some one is afraid to go bigger and go better. RIDICULOUS! Any time you help humans by making a phone more sturdy, dependable, productive its a win win. Ignore the people that say things tiny phones are what we want- no we don't. We want 8- 10 inch high x 4 inch wide. Double thick to accommodate the double sized battery needed. I almost ran out of battery at the airport(NO GOOD). ALSO think of a way that THE no wifi, no cellular service areas NO LONGER SUCK YOUR BATTERY DEAD. AIR PLANE MODE TOTALLY DISABLES YOUR PHONE. Why bother having one with you. You are strapped to using a phone in a home, in a car and too many times never where you need it...ALL WHILE KEEPING EVERY HUMAN SAFE.
