Upgrading from a S22 Ultra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Galaxy S26 Ultra (the 1TB model, because why not go big) and honestly, it’s been a total upgrade to my everyday life. Having that much storage feels amazing—I can save all my photos, videos, work stuff, school notes, and still have tons of space left.
The real star is Galaxy AI. It helps me clean up photos, summarize notes, translate on the fly, and look things up instantly with Circle to Search. It just makes everything feel easier and faster.
For sports, the camera is crazy good at catching action shots, and the battery lasts long enough for workouts, runs, and recording training sessions. For work, DeX and the AI tools make multitasking super smooth, and having 1TB means I can carry everything with me. For school, the S Pen and Note Assist make studying way less stressful.
Upgrading from my S22 Ultra was absolutely worth it. I didn’t expect such a big jump, but the S26 Ultra feels faster, smoother, and way smarter thanks to Galaxy AI. The camera improvements are huge, especially for action and low-light shots. Battery life is better too, and the extra storage gives me way more freedom than before. It just feels like every part of the phone leveled up in a way that actually matters day to day.
Overall, the S26 Ultra fits into every part of my routine—helping me stay organized, active, and on top of everything without even trying. It’s one of those devices that just makes life run smoother.

It is a brilliant solution for anyone who handles sensitive work or banking in public spaces. The design has shifted back to a sleek Armor Aluminum frame with more rounded corners, making the large 6.9-inch display much more comfortable to hold than previous generations.
Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 provides a level of fluid multitasking that feels ahead of its time, especially when utilizing the proactive AI tools and the integrated S Pen.
Photography and video have reached a new peak here. I decided it was time, and man I wished I had sooner. The smoothness of the S26 Ultra is impressive, the photos are AMAZING and I am even enjoying exploring the new Galaxy AI.

The 6.9-inch display is bright, smooth, and perfect for streaming or everyday use. A standout feature is the Privacy Display, which limits side viewing—great for public use.
The camera is incredible. The 200MP lens captures sharp detail, and the zoom lets you take clear photos from far away. Low-light shots also look great.
Performance is fast and smooth, even with multitasking or gaming. The Galaxy AI features are genuinely useful, especially for quick photo edits and smart enhancements. Battery life easily lasts all day.

Improved software updates process

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Galaxy AI is useful for learning my routines and adjusting to allow me to get the best from the device.
Software updates now come through Samsung and One UI as opposed to coming directly from Google/Android. This allows Samsung to protect against bugs and defects in the updates.
I have typically been getting 2 days on the battery.
