The transition from my previous Galaxy to the 26 Ultra was the easiest and smoothest to date. I am in awe of the privacy display. I've always used a privacy screen and wished multiple times a day that I could "turn it off." Being able to customize it out of the gate is a huge win. The camera and video capabilities are phenomenal especially if you take the time and look at all the options. Very pleased.

The phone is super thin and light weight I've been using Samsung phones since the note 1 and the evolution has never ceased to amaze me and with the new Samsung processor this phone is super fast and can handle anything u throw at it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is an absolute powerhouse that finally makes mobile AI feel like a helpful assistant rather than a collection of gimmicks. The new Galaxy AI "Agentic" features are the standout, especially the predictive "Now Nudge" and a revamped Bixby that can handle complex, multi-step tasks across different apps just by asking. Beyond the smarts, the hardware is top-tier; the world’s first built-in Privacy Display is a total game-changer for keeping prying eyes off your screen in public, and the wider f/1.4 aperture on the 200MP camera makes low-light photos look incredibly professional. It’s slimmer, lighter, and faster than ever, making it easily the most refined and "intuitive" phone Samsung has ever released.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On paper, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra should be the undisputed king of 2026. With its new "Privacy Display" and the agentic AI features of One UI 8.5, it promises the future. However, after using it as my daily driver, that future feels more like a frustrating trip back to the era of laggy hardware and software glitches. Performance: The "Ultra" Lag For a phone at its price point, you expect instant response. Instead, I’ve encountered consistent technical bottlenecks: The App Opening Struggle: There is a noticeable "buffering" period when tapping on everyday apps like Instagram or even the Camera. The icon pulses, the screen hangs, and you’re left wondering if the phone even registered your touch. Complete Freezes: It isn’t just slow; it’s prone to total lockups. I’ve had several instances where the UI becomes completely unresponsive mid-scroll, forcing me to wait nearly 30 seconds for the system to catch up. The "Play Protect" Bug: Many users, myself included, have hit a bizarre "Device not Play Protect certified" error out of the box, which prevents banking apps from opening at all. The Restart Loop The most disappointing part of the S26 Ultra experience is the constant need to restart. To clear the "ghost in the machine" that causes the stuttering, I find myself rebooting the device at least twice a day. The Problem: Even after a fresh restart, the fluidity only lasts for an hour or two before the sluggishness returns. It feels like a deep software optim
