[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who has used Samsung phones for 20 years, I can say that my current S26 Ultra is truly innovative. The privacy screen protection feature is absolutely fantastic—the app-specific customization options, in particular, are top-notch. What I appreciate most is that I don't have to keep the privacy screen feature enabled at all times. My only minor disappointment is that the new S-Pen lacks a remote control function; I hope to see this feature included in the next model.

I like using the AI features with the camera. For example, being able to delete unwanted things in my pictures. Also using it to get the unwanted sounds from my video recordings.
I use this phone for everything, texting, calling, the camera, social media and even gaming.

A Really Great Device with a Couple of Issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tend to update my phone on an annual basis, so naturally I have the S26 Ultra, right now. I'm loving it... mostly.
One of the most important things in the phone for me is the camera. The upgrades this year, do not jump out on the spec sheet, but I have seen improvement. My favorites are:
* Adding 24MP as the default photo resolution. My only gripe is that you have to add it it via the Camera Assistant app.
* LOG shooting and APV for video. I use log almost exclusively and then choose the LUT (preset color grading). I hope to see 3rd party LUT support. I haven't really used APV that much because the file sizes are give and I haven't needed any content with fiddling with it.
* Horizon lock is fun and impressive for steady shots. You can turn the phone ask the way around and it still keeps perfect framing. WHAT? Again, I have really used too much. I choose LOG and you can't do both.
* Galaxy AI really helps me with my photo editing. Erasing distracting objects from photos couldn't be easier and it's really effective. I've also had from with generative AI, dressing people up as royalty or placing them in fun locations.
Battery
I get respectable battery life, but I crave a bigger battery. I would gladly trade Mission Thin, for a bigger battery.
Screen
The screens are always great and this year they've added hardware privacy screen. I set it up to turn on for pop up notification and banking apps mostly.
Build
They went back to aluminum. It seems sturdy & light.

Love the phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Samsung Galaxy phones, I purchased the new 26Ultra back in March. I used my phone mostly for daily use, phone calls, games taking photos, watching movies, surfing the web and paying bills. I just learned how to us the AI features on my photos and the way I'm able to manipulate my photos is just great. I would highly recommend the new 26Ultra.
