A great step up from my S24 Iltra
on April 25, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved my Galaxy S24 Ultra, but it had a tendency to overheat at the worst possible times.
I drive for rideshare services, and like to use the phone with my car's head unit through android auto. Unfortunately, if it was a bright sunny day and the phone got on direct sunlight for any length of time, while using both the car screen and the phone screen (map / nav on car, turn by turn on the phone), it tended to get quite warm. This inevitably lead to throttling, and GPS navigation glitches. Even putting the phone in the air flow from a vent would sometimes fail.
So I was very eager to try out the S26 ultra with its improved cooling setup. I knew that the S24 ultra was the last Ultra with Bluetooth support built into the S-pen, and I have used that to take group photos on the past. So I worried that this might lead me to be less than perfectly happy with the new phone
Happily, my significant other still has her S24 ultra, so we use that for family group photos now.
The new phone feels like a step forward, with much snappier performance, morphed Galaxy AI creators set, and, as I have discovered, a big improvement on cooling over the old phone. I'm satisfied that this phone doesn't get more than slightly warm to the touch, and never throttles itself due to heat even when I've got music or a podcast running while on the rideshare app. This is true even in prolonged rides with sunlight falling directly on the phone.
I'm loving this phone!

Really good phone
on April 25, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Phone is really good. Camera, privacy screen, UI, AI related things and many more. Only one thing is extremely missing is Bluetooth supported S-pen features (taking photos air command features). I am using Samsung note services since Samsung Note 2. I am a fan of Note series now known as ultra. I was always satisfied with the features and camera quality provided by this series. Additionally, another feature Samsung dex is also a best feature, which I used to connect phone with my laptop. But now I think Samsung discontinued that feature to of connecting with windows laptop. Overall, phone is really good and I hope that Samsung bring these two things back (S-pen Bluetooth and Dex with windows/mac system).

A Masterclass in Regression.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve pre-ordered many flagships, but this S26 Ultra is my last. It’s fast with great battery efficiency. I cap health at 80% with two daily 15-minute top-offs. I’m running the 512GB model—a forced compromise because Samsung failed to properly advertise the 1TB option.
As a field service engineer, I rely on the S-Pen for signatures. The pixel density mimics real ink beautifully, down to micro-dot precision. I appreciate the pen sticking out slightly for easy case ejection, but the magic is dead. No Bluetooth, no controls, and single-direction insertion. Frankly, the S-View case was Samsung's last actual look-at-me innovation. Random ppl said "nice phone".
The dealbreaker is the display. An engineer sacrificed visibility for a niche "privacy" screen and should simply be fired. With polarized sunglasses in the sun, it's completely useless. The glass reflects a harsh, kaleidoscopic starfield that obscures everything. Useless in Hawaiian sun or on the water. Even night dimming has regressed to a washed-out gray-white. I worry more about corporate metadata scraping than screen-peeking strangers.
Galaxy ai? I use Google.
Video stabilization is the only feature worth showing off, but the camera housing cripples ergonomics. We shouldn't have to choose between the S25 Ultra's readable screen and the S26 Ultra's bulky camera and invisible display. All they had to do was keep it amazingly bright.
Can't add pics here b/c Samsung caps pic size at 10mb on reviews!
Care+ = joke.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent phone. I've always loved the phones with the S pens. I don't have to touch the screen when I use the pen. Would be nice to win the gift card. Lost my job recently.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra feels a POWERHOUSE
on April 25, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra feels like a true step forward in everyday usability. Galaxy AI isn’t just a feature you try once, it becomes part of how you use the phone, from improving photos in seconds to helping organize content and communication more efficiently. Performance is consistently smooth, whether multitasking or handling demanding apps, and the camera system delivers sharp, vibrant images with impressive low-light results. The display is bright and immersive, making everything from video to editing feel premium. Battery life comfortably lasts a full day, even with heavy use. What stands out most is how everything works together without friction. It feels reliable, fast, and thoughtfully designed for real-world use.

S26 ultra camera and other features
on April 25, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had this phone for just over a month and im still learning more about it. Especially the camera. There is soo much going on with the camera both still and video, it's just amazing. The different ways to take video and photos, how in depth you can make each one as well is amazing. I will be looking into astrophotography whenever im away from the city. Very excited. The phone has so many great features outside of the camera as well like the very handy and useful Galaxy Ai. Simple to use and very handy when you need something. Hands down the best phone out there. I look forward to what Samsung does in the future
