Defective 25W charging
on April 9, 2026
Posted by: ArcticMammal
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Ultra model mainly for the 25W wireless charging capability. My testing and those done by other techies showed that wireless charging is far below what Samsung claims . The highest output wattage I have observed was 11W.

This phone was promised to be the best phone ever, rivaling and besting the i-phone for the camera.....it is a colossal disappointment! My Motorola phone camera was just as "good"....nothing superior abt the phone, except the price. Way too many "features" which the average person wld never use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Almost there!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So Samsung wants me to believe the shiny new S26 Ultra is better than the legendary Note 20 Ultra. Nice try. Display S26 Ultra: Brighter, smoother, more efficient, probably visible from the International Space Station. Note 20 Ultra: The screen still looks amazing. Plus, every time you pull it out, people know you're carrying a phone from the era when Samsung still put a built-in S Pen in everything without making it complicated. Winner: Note 20 Ultra, because nostalgia adds 120 extra Hz. Performance S26 Ultra: Faster processor. Better AI. Can probably calculate your taxes while editing a video and translating a conversation into six languages. Note 20 Ultra: Opens YouTube. Opens Facebook. Opens Google Maps. What else do you need? Are you launching rockets from your phone? Winner: Note 20 Ultra for refusing to participate in the AI arms race. Camera S26 Ultra: More megapixels than a NASA satellite. Can zoom into your neighbor's barbecue from three counties away. Note 20 Ultra: Takes pictures that look good. Back in my day, we took photos because we wanted memories, not because we wanted to count the pores on a squirrel's face from 800 yards away. Winner: Note 20 Ultra for respecting wildlife privacy. Battery S26 Ultra: Better efficiency, longer battery life. Note 20 Ultra: Has survived years of abuse, questionable charging habits, and being left at 4% overnight. The battery isn't just a battery anymore. It's a veteran. Winner: Note 20 Ultra for service and sacrifice.

Not great - Bloatware Fest
on March 18, 2026
Posted by: Skeptical Customer
The Phone is nice. The bloatware is horrible. Even after you turn it off it keeps coming back. I upgraded from a S22 and it overwrite most of my settings and just took control of my phone. There are slot of things I don't want to use on here (I have my own software preferences) yet I can't turn the Samsung feature off. Dex has gotten clutzy too. It does not work as well as on previous versions of the phone. Time will tell, but I am not sure I am happy with this upgrade.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new privacy feature makes the screen blurry and dim even when the feature is off. This is a terrible compromise for a useless feature.

Horrible battery even worse, grumpy tech support
on March 19, 2026
Posted by: Wasadiehardfan
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The camera is nice but the battery was defective from the day I got it. I was given the run around by tech for many days and after about 50 phone calls I finally got a resolution from the other team. Tech support was absolutly horrifying. I have officially lost my love for Samsung.
