Good, not great. Simple tweaks would improve.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never been so divided about a device in my entire life.
I LOVE some of the features introduced with this phone - most notably the privacy screen. It works very well and is a spectacular upgrade. The Galaxy AI works great, and the battery life is very good.
I upgraded to the S26 Ultra from the S24 Ultra. A few things I don't like about the newer version are the shape - the square corners of the S24 Ultra just felt much more premium. I miss some of the stylus functionality as well - major downgrade there. The rounded corners means the stylus is rounded, and it makes it much more susceptible to being accidentally depressed (and has fallen out several times.
I would probably give 3.5/5 if that were an option, but I can't give it 4/5. I don't have buyers remorse per se, but it's not as great as if hoped.

Great phone but they need to bring back one thing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think I have owned just about every Galaxy Ultra phone and this one is my favorite. The privacy screen is a nice feature but I only use it for alerts. I think it is a little much to run full screen all the time. Battery life seems to be improved although technically it isn't. The only complaint I have is they need to bring back the Bluetooth S Pen. That was such an unbelievably useful feature. I am still puzzled why they got rid of it.

S26 does it all

Its does some much more than i thought it could for example the camera is so much better than my tablet camera i converted my slate from Window to Zorin even though i lost the camera on the slate as changing operating systems is a big NO NO in the Slate world. I talk to Rod (Thats my phones AIs name HOTROD) and tell him schedule my appointments set my alarms i tell the phone camera when to take pictures or start recording handsfree. It is truly my coworker and business partner in one.

translat problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a Samsung fan, and the S26 Ultra is really good overall. However, one thing is frustrating: it went back to an older-style feature.
I still have both the S23 Ultra and S24 Ultra. When I use screen translation on both of those phones, it works perfectly. But on the S26 Ultra, screen translation sometimes only works partially, and occasionally the screen turns black. I need to switch to my older phones to make it work properly.
Samsung needs to improve this. Why do some features get reverted to older versions that don't work as well?

Great phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A couple months ago I upgraded my phone to the Galaxy S26 Ultra from a Galaxy S22. I've had different Galaxy phone models the past several years but I'd never gotten one of the Ultra models. I decided to spring for an Ultra this time - I was interested in the built-in privacy screen, the S Pen options, and the larger screen size. I've been very impressed with this phone the past 3 months I've had it. The privacy screen is a fantastic option for select apps and notifications and it really works - if you are not looking straight at the screen, you can't see what's on the screen. I've enjoyed playing games with the S Pen and I'm still figuring out what all it can do. I've also enjoyed the various Galaxy AI options, especially the call screening. If I don't recognize the number, I can choose to screen the call.
I'm definitely glad I upgraded and definitely glad I went with the Ultra version this time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I Had A Z Fold 5. I Hardly Used It. When I Went To Get It Activated A Line Was In The Middle Of The Screen When Infolded. I Thought A Reset Would Fix It. It Never Went Away. I Traded It In Because It Was In Perfect Condition, But Couldn’t Be Used So I Got The S26 To Get The Best Return On My Money. It Operates As My Previous Note And The Galaxy AI Was A Bonus.

Sleek and Smooth!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a dedicated Galaxy user for the last 5 years and this device proves why I won't use another brand. In those years, this is my first time having the latest model, and I have to say, I have zero regrets. As someone who has to heavily multitask on a day to day basis, I need something that can handle that. Between the smoothness of the operating system and the high tech processor, I can create my designs wherever inspiration may strike, create a note with ease of something I'd like to research further, and set daily to do reminders with ease! I also very much enjoy how non-invasive the Galaxy AI is. In a world that relies on it, I have my concerns and I like it to be as little involved as possible. This AI however, actually has me wanting to give it a go for the perks of a personal assistant. Don't even get me started on the camera quality! I've never been more blown away by a simple photo I snapped on a whim! So if you're having any doubts, take the plunge, you won't regret it!

Ease of use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Galaxy S26 Ultra is the best phone I have owned. The ease of use makes it a breeze to complete all of my daily tasks without a worry. The stylus pen enables me to conduct my normal errands or remain engaged while taking notes in a meeting. I have tried other brands of phones once or twice, but that will not happen again as I have always had the best experiences with Samsung phones since my first one in 2011. Keep up the awesome work and I can't wait for the next wave of innovation that Samsung always leads the way in.
