Great Hardware, Needs Notification Fixes
on April 9, 2026
Posted by: ToneTrapped
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this phone daily for work, content creation, and staying connected, and the hardware has been excellent. The display is sharp, performance is fast, and the camera delivers consistently strong results. Features like Galaxy AI are a nice addition and feel useful in everyday tasks.
However, the biggest issue for me is notifications, especially in the messaging app. I am not able to customize notification sounds at all and can only use the default sounds provided on the device. This makes it difficult to distinguish between contacts or prioritize messages, which impacts daily use more than expected.
I have also noticed occasional inconsistencies with notifications from other apps, including delays or missed alerts. While not constant, it happens often enough to be frustrating.
Overall, the hardware experience is top tier, but the software needs refinement. If Samsung improves notification customization and reliability, this would easily be a five star device. As it stands, it is a strong four star phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone is great at almost everything, it's UI is very responsive, fast and smooth. The cameras are an improvement over the previous galaxy series and the new form factor is very welcomed; it feels more comfortable in the hand and it's lighter!

Great phone with amazing features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing phone. The new built in privacy screen is an amazing new feature that I use often. The Galaxy AI tools are very useful for all aspects. The ability to use many of them, if I choose to keep them restricted to on phone only if i want, really helps with any concerns about data privacy. This phone is fast, the screen crystal clear and the battery long lasting.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra Exceded My Expectations
on April 9, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really liking the Galaxy AI features and I always live the photo qualities. I find myself using the AI features much for frequently than I expected and very satisfied with the results. I am still adjusting to using Google Messenger as opposed to the Samsunger Messenger...both have their pros and cons. Once I use the new Messenger more, I am sure I will like it. Many of the features I already enjoy using.
