Feature Request:Video Frame Interpolation on Phone
on May 21, 2026
Posted by: Blin980
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hi Samsung, The Galaxy S26 Ultra does not feel like a major upgrade over the previous generation. There are not many standout improvements, and the move from a titanium frame to an aluminum frame makes it feel less premium. I also feel that the privacy feature may have come at the cost of display quality, and the screen looks less impressive than the S25 Ultra. What I would really like to see instead is a video frame interpolation feature. Aside from communication, I mainly use my phone for listening to music and watching videos, so multimedia performance matters a lot to me. Since Galaxy phones already have high-refresh-rate displays, video frame interpolation would make video playback smoother and improve the overall viewing experience. Many other smartphone brands already offer similar features, so I hope Samsung will consider adding it as well, with an option for users to turn it on or off depending on their preference.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] finally bit the bullet and retired my trusty s10 (rip headphone jack & sd slot). other reviews indicated that the s26 ultra wouldn't be much of an upgrade to s24 ultra or the s25 ultra but having tried both for a few weeks, I can definitely say that it IS a substantial upgrade in terms of refinement. Way better Galaxy AI integrations with this gen and seems to be much quicker while being lighter on the battery usage. I also prefer having a privacy mode that I can toggle than a permanent privacy screen protector for when I show things to people.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the best features of the galaxy s26 ultra is the brand new never before seen on a phone privacy display witch covers more than a normal screen protector privacy screen, I love using galaxy edit especially for photos and videos and the Galaxy AI is amazing at touching up of all types of photos and videos I really like it and appreciate the work put into making it this amazing keep doing great things and innovating more into the new phones so we get even better display technology and better AI, I know samsung can always make anything better especially with the foldable phones I'd like to soon purchase the all new Tri-Fold in the near future, thank you samsung for this great phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a samsung galaxy user for a long time. I have always has a Note/Ultra due to the size of my hands.
I am always amazes at the quality of the camera that are equipped in the device. The clarity thay produce has allowed me to do client photos without the use of an SLR camera. An the use of galaxy Ai to help identify obscure items on a jobsite has been indispensable.
The translation features have helped me in business meetings when the there may not br a human translator present or when catching up with an acquaintance who has rough time translating certain words. But be careful as some languages translate better than others.
The main reason that I upgraded to the S26 ultra is for the new privacy features. I travel alot and I hate privacy films that make it difficult for mr to use my screen.

Galaxy S26 Ultra... Great phone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Galaxy S26 Ultra for a while now, and overall I’m satisfied with it. It feels very similar to the S25, so if you already have that model, there might not be a huge reason to upgrade—though the new privacy display is a nice touch. The build quality is excellent, and the battery lasts even longer than the S25, which is a pleasant surprise. Photos and videos are still top-notch, and the new Galaxy AI features really stand out, especially when editing pictures—it makes enhancing and customizing shots much easier and more intuitive. For anyone coming from the S24 or older models, the S26 Ultra is definitely worth considering. My only small gripe is that I miss the Bluetooth pen connection from the S24 for taking pictures—it was a convenient feature that’s not available here. All in all, it’s a solid, premium phone that delivers what you’d expect, with thoughtful improvements and some smart Galaxy AI enhancements that make using it more enjoyable.

The Ultimate Powerhouse Phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just upgraded to the S26 Ultra and it's easily the best phone I've owned. The new Privacy Display is a game-changer for when I'm out in public, and the phone feels much lighter and more comfortable in my hand compared to the older models. The performance is super fast, and the battery life has been holding up great all day. If you're on the fence, definitely go for it!
