The S26 Ultra is the best Android phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The S26 Ultra is noticeably thinner at 7.9mm — you'll feel it in-hand and think "oh, nice." Then you'll put it down and forget about it. The big headline feature is the built-in Privacy Display, which kills the side-angle view so the person next to you on the bus can't read your texts. Genuinely useful. Also slightly unnerving that Samsung is marketing paranoia as a premium feature, but hey, welcome to 2026. The camera? Still 200MP. Still incredible. Still the kind of setup that makes you feel like a professional photographer right up until you look at the photos and realize the phone did all the work. Samsung's ProVisual Engine and Galaxy AI handle so much post-processing that your "skill" is basically just pointing the thing. If that bothers you, touch grass. If it doesn't, your Instagram will look phenomenal. Battery life is a genuine win. Super Fast Charging 3.0 gets you to 75% in about 30 minutes, and the 5000mAh cell will last you through a full day of heavy use without sweating it. Keep the Privacy Display on — it barely dents the battery. Testing showed maybe a 16-minute difference in real-world use. That's nothing. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 screams. Everything is instant. Apps open before you finish tapping. It's almost annoying how fast it is because there's nothing left to complain about in that department.
Galaxy AI is baked into every corner of the S26 Ultra, and at this point it's less a feature and more just... the phone. It's everywhere. The camera leans
