Not so durable

Plz use a screenprotector, I learnt the hard way.
Owned note series since s9, always bought a screen protector, skipped for the first time buying into hype of a strong durable screen.
Another issue with this phone is it goes into listening AI mode even if the phone is idle or not in use.
My First note that's cracked, not a first I was looking forward to.

Honestly, I wasn't sure the S26 Ultra would be worth the upgrade, but a few weeks in and it's hard to go back. The 6.9-inch display is massive in the best way — watching sports or movies on this thing is kind of ridiculous. Bumped it up to full resolution and the difference was immediately obvious.
Speed-wise, I have zero complaints. Everything opens fast, I can bounce between apps without any lag, and gaming is smoother than I expected. Doesn't feel like it's breaking a sweat.
The thing I keep coming back to is Galaxy AI. I was honestly skeptical — AI features on phones always felt like filler to me. But I actually use it. Photo editing on the fly, summarizing long notes before meetings, translating stuff in real time. It's built into how I use the phone now without me really trying to make it that way.
Camera is excellent. Low-light shots especially — way better than my S24. Zoom still holds up at distances where other phones just give you mush.
Battery gets me through a full day consistently, and if I'm running low the fast charging is fast enough that I don't stress about it.
My honest critiques: it's expensive, and if you're coming from an S25 Ultra you might not feel a huge jump. More of a polish than a reinvention.
But for what it is — a phone you can do basically everything on!

Fingerprint sensor terrible and general performanc

The fingerprint sensor on the S26 Ultra is terrible. Only works about 10% of the time. I wish I did not buy this phone and stuck with my S21 Ultra. I really don't see any performance increases from my S21. As of now, this will probably be my last Samsung phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst Ultra I've ever had

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had many Samsung Ultra's and this is by far the worst. Glitches galore. If you copy some text, the "Copied" notification bubble (for lack of better words) at the bottom of the screen doesn't leave the screen until you manipulate the phone to make it go away. It does that with alot of the phone's text bubbles. Makes it hard to read text messages until you get rid of it. It'll tell me I have text messages that are unread, which I don't, and so I have to go into my settings and click "Mark as read" for the notification to go away. None of my other Ultras did this.

Camera quality is amazing and looks professional! Only issue that I've had is the new Google messages are a little faulty but I'm sure they will fix the bugs! Loving it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the new Ultra. It’s exceptionally fast, smooth, and honestly makes everything easier day to day. The display is bright and crisp, and the battery easily keeps up with me, even when I’m using it all day for streaming, social media, and staying organized.
One of my favorite features is Galaxy AI. It really feels like having a built-in assistant that helps with everything from writing to searching and even organizing my thoughts. It saves time and makes things feel effortless.
The camera is also incredible. Pictures come out sharp, detailed, and vibrant without needing to edit much at all. Whether I’m taking quick photos or capturing important moments, it always delivers.
I use my Samsung device for a little bit of everything—watching shows, managing daily tasks, connecting with family, and even helping with creative projects—and it handles it all without slowing down.
Overall, this phone just feels reliable, powerful, and smart. Definitely one of the best upgrades I’ve made.

Miss my s 25 ultra

Me personally, I do not care about this phone. I traded from the S25 ultra to the S26 ultra. I've had a lot of problems from this phone. My apps disappear, that's happened. Getting a signal is really hard , other people can't hear me when I talk to them on the phone they say it breaks up constantly, and I just do not care for this phone. I wish I had my S25 back I never got a call dropped on that clearly speaking. I heard them. They heard me Always get a signal and my apps did not disappear. With that being said it does have a very good camera on it. Many options.
The display is very vivid.Good colors comes in clear.The battery lasts me about a day and durability, I would say, is good. That is my own personal experience with this phone.
