1TB Ultra, extra RAM makes a huge difference

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite Galaxy AI feature so far is the remastering/upscaling of photos.
Removing objects falls under generative AI even if I'm not generating a new image, so I tend to not do that as I don't want the watermark on my actual photos—but the upscaling of cropped photos is definitely great for localized processing (I avoid the cloud).
Some refinement is needed for object edges selection, and I do wish the watermark applied only to images generated rather than touched-up images…baby steps, I guess.
The UI is smooth and snappy. Even at full brightness, the screen could be brighter (I work in the sun, could use higher nits).
With that said, I've been using Samsung phones since high school–I've tried the other two major brands and I don't care for the fruit's closed ecosystem, or the alphabet's production…they're so close, but Samsung has been at it a while, they know what they're doing!

Smart, fast, and dependable

The screen is crisp and easy to read, allowing for easier video streaming, show browsing, photo checking, and reading. The phone also works seamlessly when using multiple apps, browsing the web, scrolling on social media, and getting work or school stuff done. The battery also flows reliably all day.
My favorite feature on the phone is Galaxy AI because it allows my technology to feel more useful and up to date. It's great for when I want to get something done fast, be productive, or complete day-to-day tasks with ease. The camera also takes high-quality pictures and videos for when I don't feel like editing them. Overall this Samsung device feels dependable, user-friendly, and has many functions that benefit life day-to-day.

Great phone

It is not incremental, it is incredible upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly didn't think I'd have much to say after upgrading from the S24 Ultra, but the S26 Ultra surprised me. The display is stupid good — watching NFL games or running Netflix on my lunch break feels like cheating. Colors pop without looking oversaturated, and the brightness holds up even outside on a sunny day.
Galaxy AI is where things get genuinely useful rather than gimmicky. I use the live translation feature constantly for work calls with overseas clients, and the note summarization after long meetings has saved me embarrassing follow-up emails. It actually learns how I phrase things, which sounds creepy but mostly just feels helpful.

Gaming-wise, I run, COD, Diablo Immortal and a few heavier titles with zero throttling, even during long sessions. The cooling system is noticeably better — my hand doesn't feel like it's holding a space heater anymore.
Battery gets me through a full day of streaming, two hours of gaming, and a handful of video calls without anxiety. Fast charge gets me back to 80% before I finish my coffee.
The S Pen still sets this apart from anything else on the market. Quick annotations during sports streams, sketching out project layouts — it just works without lag.
If you're debating the upgrade — it's worth it, especially if you actually use your phone for everything.
