Way more than what is expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got my hands on the S26 Ultra and it’s an absolute beast. The new Privacy Display is pure magic—I can review sensitive business financials and electrical schematics in crowded places without anyone snooping on my screen. Performance? Unreal. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 flies through multitasking without a stutter, and the new aluminum armor cooling keeps it completely chill. The 60W charging gets me to 75% in just 30 minutes, an absolute lifesaver on packed workdays. But the real star is the camera. The upgraded 200MP main sensor and 50MP ultrawide are capturing ridiculously crisp, vibrant photos of my five-year-old running around. I seriously can't wait to test the 100x Space Zoom on our trip to Japan this fall!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the most notable aspects of the S26 Ultra, compared to my previous S24 Ultra, is its lightweight design. The device offers swift and responsive performance, particularly when navigating through apps. The privacy display has proven to be a highly innovative and practical feature, effectively enabling the selection of specific apps and blocking notifications. The camera's night mode has resulted in a notable enhancement in image quality, demonstrating a clear improvement in performance. As illustrated in the nighttime photograph, the clarity and precision of the image are evident. The AI has proven to be a transformative feature, enhancing virtually every aspect of functionality on this device.

The powerhouse phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is a powerhouse flagship with a standout privacy-focused display, big AI push, excellent performance, and a very capable camera system, but it’s an iterative upgrade that mainly shines if you care about AI features, security, and the new screen tech. Design and displaySamsung keeps the familiar boxy Ultra look, but slims it down to around 7.9 mm and 214 g, with slightly softer corners that make the phone more comfortable to hold than last year’s model. You get a huge 6.9‑inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display at QHD resolution and 120 Hz, which looks every bit as sharp, bright, and fluid as you’d expect from Samsung’s top-tier screen tech. The headline feature is the new Privacy Display: it uses a special AMOLED layer to dramatically reduce viewing angles so people next to you see far less of what’s on your screen. In practice, that makes the S26 Ultra feel tailor‑made for commuting, banking apps, and work email, though colors can subtlety shift at extreme angles.Performance, battery, and chargingInside, the Galaxy S26 Ultra runs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 “for Galaxy” in all regions, with 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM and storage up to 1 TB. Day‑to‑day performance is extremely fast: apps open instantly, multitasking is smooth, and demanding games run at high frame rates, helped by an upgraded NPU and GPU tuned for on‑device AI and gaming.Battery capacity remains 5,000 mAh, but efficiency improvements and software tuning.

Call me Impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been very impressed with the Galaxy S26 Ultra so far. The display is incredibly sharp and bright, making everything from videos to everyday apps look amazing. The camera system is also outstanding and captures very detailed photos in both bright and low-light conditions. Performance feels extremely fast and smooth even when multitasking or using demanding apps.
One feature that really stands out is Galaxy AI. The AI tools are genuinely useful and make everyday tasks easier, from improving photos to helping with productivity features. The battery life has also been excellent and easily lasts through a full day of use, which I am absolutely in love with, its honestly fantastic. Overall, the Galaxy S26 Ultra feels like a premium device with powerful hardware and smart features that enhance the experience.

A worthwhile upgrade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgrade from S24 ultra to S26 ultra. I was surprised to see no difference in viewing angles with privacy screen off. It is fascinating to see how well it works when turned on.
Excited to use Galaxy AI features. People say S Pen is a gimmick, I use it quite often (yes, I'm bummed about loosing Bluetooth functionality in the S Pen). I expect the same with the Galaxy AI features too.
