Spiffy New S26

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got a new S26 in classic Black. First impressions: Lighter and smaller than my previous Galaxy S21+ phone Slim but sturdy Glass was responsive the touch (tap, swipe and fingerprint) Camera recognized face without any issues Display was very crisp and clear - hard to differentiate the quality between the old the new phones, but it seemed brighter and clearer to me New battery lasts longer and recharges a bit faster too It does run hot when I was transferring my data over during the swap Volume was set a little low in my opinion The default ring tone was very quiet The vibrate mode was also less "loud" or noticeable compared to the previous iteration A slightly smaller screen compare to my S21+
Overall, fast, crisp, clear, and responsive. I rather like the lighter weight and smaller screen. It fits better in my pocket even with a case.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The processors seem to be lagging a bit at times. Especially when running Gemini AI alongside other higher RAM requirement apps. The other issue I've had was the device having connection issues and losing all service/signal even when in a high signal/5G service area. Other than that I love it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked this phone up yesterday & retired my S21+. The S26 is much easier to use, battery life is great, and it's slightly smaller than my S21+. Now that my device has been upgraded, I've finally had the chance to experience Galaxy AI and I'm loving it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using this Galaxy device for several months as my primary phone. Battery lasts a full day with mixed use including browsing, messaging, navigation, and video. The display stays readable outdoors at higher brightness levels.
Galaxy AI has become part of my routine. Circle to Search is the feature I use most for quick lookups without switching apps. Live Translate handled a call with relatives well enough that both sides could follow along. Note summarization and the writing assist tools save time when cleaning up meeting notes.
Camera output in good light is sharp with accurate color. Low-light shots are usable, though some processing shows up in shadows. The fingerprint sensor is fast and consistent. Storage and RAM have handled everything including occasional gaming sessions.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Galaxy AI and new photo features. I use my phone for streaming my favorite shows and music. This new phone is easy to use and still small enough to fit in my pocket.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Galaxy phone was smaller than my old one, it worked as I commanded. Then I started adding my Apps, it didn't like that too much. Perhaps none of my problems are due to the phone. I believe my account has been hacked and I can't afford to purchase an Anti-virus package at this time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel as that the base model of the S series hasn't been receiving enough attention as there hasn't been much change to the hardware since the s23 . I feel like the base model could definitely use better camera and higher charging speed of even a better battery capacity. The s26 needs to also receive some attention instead of it just being the regular base model
