Great new phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to choose what phone to get for myself. The reasons why I decided on this phone over others. I like the size. The feature of swiping from the right hand corner to get to the short cuts was very nice.
I'm still learning how to use it. Adding apps from the old phone is going pretty flawless.

So far so good. Battery is better than I expected. Came from the 24 ultra. I listen to music some times for 10 hours a day. Text and video chat. Battery is still there when I get off work. Ai on photos is great. I was tired of carrying the big bulk phone so I wanted the small one. Miss the screen size lol. But it's been a great phone so far. I have had it for over a week now. I can be on it all day and still have at least 40 percent battery by 9 pm. And that's with it coming off the charger at 430am. Camera is pretty darn good. No problems with performance. I got a generic otterbox because I work in construction and I'm in the desert. Seems very durable. But it's a galaxy so that's expected to be durable. Haven't had one break yet. I pre-ordered but didn't get the memory upgrade. It wasn't offered which sucks but oh well. Loving the phone tho.

Fast, smart, very responsive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using the S26 for about two weeks and honestly didn't expect to notice such a big difference coming from my previous phone — but here we are.
The speed thing is real. I use Claude and ChatGPT a lot for work and study, and watching complex math formulas render instantly is genuinely satisfying. My old phone would chug on that stuff. Not anymore.
Camera is great too — took some shots recently that I'd normally have needed a proper camera for. The AI photo editing is handy, though I was skeptical at first. Turns out it actually works without making everything look over-processed.
For studying, Note Assist and the AI summaries save me a surprising amount of time. Circle to Search has also become one of those small habits I didn't expect — you just use it without thinking after a while.
Battery gets me through the whole day — work, a workout, evening study session — and I'm not frantically looking for a charger by 8pm, which used to be a thing.
It's not a cheap phone, so I went back and forth on it. Two weeks in though, feels like the right call.

Having a raised camera lens is not functional

This is a nice phone but I really don't like that the camera lenses are not flat to the back of the phone. I had the same problem with the S24 but I was able to find a case for that one that leveled the back of the phone. It's annoying when you want to play a game with your phone on a flat surface and it wobbles.
I would recommend this to a friend!
