Great trade-in upgrade from the Galaxy S25!
on July 8, 2026

from Las vegas nv
I decided to trade in my Galaxy S25 for the new Galaxy S26, and it has been an excellent upgrade all around. Performance & Durability: The updated Snapdragon chip offers incredibly smooth performance with zero lag during multitasking. The build quality feels very premium and solid, providing great durability and a comfortable feel in the hand for daily work. Display & Camera: The 6.3-inch display is stunning, getting incredibly bright and sharp even when using it outside in direct sunlight. Photography-wise, the camera processing is noticeably improved, capturing fantastic details and colors, especially with low-light night shots. Battery: Lastly, the battery life easily gets me through a full day of heavy use on a single charge. Highly recommend making the switch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The AI Galaxy on the feature just automatically turns on when it chooses to I do not like that. I believe that it should not answer, until it is asked 4 or 4 or 4. It is put on there

The storage space!!
on May 11, 2026
Posted by: ILovesU
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the storage space so much, about 250 GB of storage I believe, so much more that most devices and it's super useful of course! Up to you and what you're looking for, storage space for images, videos, memories, etc.
My Galaxy AI is awesome! So much to do and very helpful especially in everyday life. It helps me plan, keep track, study, move & exercise, it keeps me accountable overall.
A great size and light weight phone, perfect for moving around. Genuinely awesome cameras for pictures, etc. Especially if you like to take pictures all hours of the day, your nightlife pictures get a huge upgrade with the quality, and brightness. The cameras are a bit big but I don't care about it too much.. if you'd like a slim phone, maybe this isn't for you though.

The software is a mess
on June 27, 2026
Posted by: John
from Miami
The problems started when all my apps on the home page disappeared. They were all now in an app drawer. I had to bring them back to the home page. Then they disappeared again. Then they reappeared. Wow, this thing is confusing. Next, the phone started installing new apps spontaneously. It installed five different text apps. I could not stop it and can't figure out which ones I should delete and which single one I should keep. Next it freezes up and won't do anything. Then it spontaneously presents ads that I can't stop or get rid of. This phone is a mess. I wish I never got it. And it keeps getting worse. Now I can't open the email app. Instead I get advertising that I can't stop. When the ad ends, the phone locks up and I have to turn it off and back on again for it to work.
Update:
I solved my problems with this phone. I threw it in the trash.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The S26 as a daily driver.
on June 25, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The base model of the S26 is an amazing phone it has about 20 hours of battery life before it gets to around 20 percent and I charge it while not letting it get past 80% battery life the camera is great not just that but having 256gb is a life changer from someone who has had 64gb and I no longer really worry about the storage not only that but this being my first experience with Galaxy AI and its not a bad thing I've used it sparingly with live translate because of the giddy feeling you get when have new features and see it online so I experimented with my bilingual family not only that but I've used the feature in gallery that allows you to cut things or people out while also keeping a relatively good quality and seems better than most other apps I've seen do it so overall my experience with it has been great.

Software is a step backwards, phone is too large
on March 9, 2026
Posted by: cvs26review
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The software in this new phone is a step back compared to my previous device (z flip 5). It lost customization options I made use of previously, such as the ability to hide the battery charge percentage from the status bar, while becoming significantly more pushy with "Galaxy AI". I do not want to use these silly AI features, stop asking. I don't care how much money Samsung has wasted chasing this market trend, I don't want my product to be made actively-worse to justify their bad investments. The number of pre-installed apps I do not want also increased, as did the count of advertisements disguised as push notifications.
Additionally, the phone is too large. The base-model S series was the last premium-quality phone that could reasonably be called "small" on the market (despite still being about 20% larger than I'd like), and this entry (the S26) increased the size. Either make it smaller again or, ideally, release a "Mini" variant. The market for such phones isn't large, but it's completely ignored by every other smartphone maker, so would be captive to Samsung. Regardless, the size increase is unappreciated.

Feels Dated
on May 27, 2026
Posted by: EmSage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although, it's been awhile since using Samsung phones in my opinion it's not really user friendly and feels cryptic. I got this phone for my business and I cannot seem to actually get comfortable with using it besides for calls and backup. It's not very comfortable to use
