I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, and overall it’s been a solid phone. The battery life has been great for me, and I rarely end up running low unless I deliberately avoid charging it. The display is another standout, it’s bright, vibrant, and just looks really good in everyday use.
One feature I’m still a little torn on is the privacy screen. It’s definitely impressive, and when I’ve shown it to other people, they really can’t see much from the side. But at the same time, it does add a haze to the display that I’m not always a fan of. It’s one of those things that’s useful, but comes with a tradeoff.
Where I’m most disappointed is the camera. If the lighting is really good, it can take nice photos and decent video, but in anything less than ideal light, it starts to struggle. My family gives me a hard time about it all the time, and honestly, they’re starting to have a point. The 100X zoom is more of a gimmick than something I’d actually use, since it’s almost impossible to hold steady enough for a usable shot, and even when you do, the result usually ends up blurry and pixelated.
That said, the phone is fast, responsive, and feels well built. I’ve been a Samsung user since the S3, and that’s not changing anytime soon. I do think the camera could use some real improvement, and bringing back the memory card slot wouldn’t hurt either. Galaxy AI has been a mixed bag so far — some features are useful, but others feel like they were

Never had a galaxy phone, but this one is amazing

The Samsung AI is really useful for me, from editing pictures to things like now brief, I've never had a Phone with this many features. Now brief is an amazing thing, one of the many things is that you even get the location where you parked your car, making it amazing for people like me who forgets things quickly.

A game changer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time getting an ultra; I love the stylus pen. I am able to take quick notes right away instead of looking for a pen and paper. Also love the new privacy display; I was conscious of people looking at my phone so this was definitely a plus in my book. Let's not forget the camera qualities. Always superb crispy photos with the help of galaxy ai to make a lot of background edits. As for how fast the phone runs, its doing a great job multitasking and allowing me to swap between apps, including games, very quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Galaxy S26 Ultra. It's incredibly fast, and the Galaxy AI features have been a great addition to my everyday use. They make searching, writing, and editing photos much easier. The camera is top-tier and takes amazing pictures in just about any lighting. Overall, it's the best Samsung phone I've owned, and I highly recommend it.

Don't waste your money on the Samsung S26 Ultra

I would give this product negative stars if I could. The S9 is far better than the S26 Ultra and the S4 was far better than the S9. I can't even use my email, nor can I even access several websites with this S26 Ultra.

Really dissapointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The phone has a great design, color, and size. I have used this brand in the past and have always been satisfied with their phones, until now.
I saved money because I wanted to buy a high-quality phone that I could keep for many years, just like my previous ones. One of the main reasons I chose this phone and model was that I wanted to use it to take great photos from far away, as well as macro photos. I work in a botanical garden, so I take a lot of photos of birds, insects, plants, and many other interesting natural things. Because of that, the camera quality was very important to me.
However, only five days after receiving the phone, the screen went blank and then stopped working completely. I do not know what happened. Since this was a significant investment for me, I also purchased a quality protective case right away.
I took the phone to an authorized and certified repair center, and they confirmed that it needed to be sent back. This caused a lot of inconvenience. I had to reactivate my old phone and use it while waiting. After one week, I received my phone back with the screen replaced.
At this point, I do not know if this phone will last for several years like my previous ones, especially since I started having problems less than a week after purchasing it. I am really disappointed because this is the first time I have made such a big investment in a phone, and the experience has been very frustrating. I expected better quality and reliability from this brand.

Incredible Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just recently upgraded to the new s26 ultra from an s24 ultra and the difference is amazing. First off the quality of watching videos or games has not only gotten way smoother but the picture is like watching a luxury TV in the palm of your hands. I also use this phone at work constantly and need the speaker for most calls and it's not only clear to hear it's loud which is really good for me considering I work in a very loud construction zone. There's alot of other neat features with this phone like the privacy display which I feel like could be a bit better but if you turn your brightness down a bit it works great. Another awesome feature is the galaxy AI which I use all the time to edit my photos and also have a bit of fun with making different things in my photos like a dinosaur or something along those lines. Overall I give my experience with the new s26 ultra a 5 star rating and can't wait to see what else samsung will come out with next.
