[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung Q-Series Soundbar HW-Q990H is amazing I recently swapped out with my sonos and I haven't looked back this is truly Samsung's flagship premium surround sound the sound bar is crystal clear and the sub shakes the room the added wireless rear speakers set it off combining clairity and room booming bass makes your true movie experience lime your in the theaters. FIve stars samsung

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung’s Q‑Series soundbars—especially models like the HW‑Q990H and HW‑Q900H—continue to stand out as some of the most immersive home‑theater audio systems available. Their raw power is obvious (up to 756 W on the Q990H), but what makes the experience genuinely impressive is how well the system adapts to your room through calibration and placement.
Out of the box, the Q‑Series performs well, but running Samsung’s SpaceFit Sound Pro calibration makes a noticeable difference. The system analyzes your room’s acoustics and automatically adjusts the EQ, tightening the bass from the wireless subwoofer and improving dialogue clarity. In my testing, calibrated audio sounded more balanced, especially in rooms with hard surfaces or asymmetrical layouts.
Placement flexibility is another strength. The main soundbar is designed for wall mounting or TV‑stand placement, and the wireless rear speakers (included with models like the Q990H) make true surround sound achievable without running cables across the room. Positioning the rears slightly behind and angled toward the seating area produced the best Atmos height effects, especially during action scenes.
Synchronization is where Samsung’s ecosystem shines. Q‑Symphony blends the soundbar with compatible Samsung TV speakers, creating a fuller front soundstage. Syncing is seamless—no lag, no phasing issues—and the Wi‑Fi connection keeps audio stable even in busy wireless environments. Lip‑sync performance was excellent across streaming apps and gaming consoles.
Overall, the Samsung Q‑Series delivers cinematic immersion with minimal setup hassle. Calibration enhances clarity, smart placement unlocks Atmos performance, and synchronization with Samsung TVs elevates the entire experience. If you want a premium soundbar that feels both powerful and intelligently tuned, the Q‑Series is one of the most reliable choices available.

Won't sync to the booster speaker

When powered on for the first time, the rear speakers and subwoofer should automatically connect wirelessly. If the auto-connection process fails, you can try manually connecting the sub and rears to the soundbar.
Before performing the manual connection procedure, check whether the power cables for the Soundbar and subwoofer are connected properly and make sure that the Soundbar is turned off.
Press and hold ID SET on the rear of the subwoofer for at least 5 seconds. The red indicator on the rear of the subwoofer turns off and the blue indicator blinks. Press and hold the Up button on the remote control for at least 5 seconds. The ID SET message appears on the display of the Soundbar for a moment, and then it disappears. The Soundbar will automatically power on when ID SET is complete. The LINK LED indicator stops blinking and glows a solid blue when a connection is established between the Soundbar and the Wireless Subwoofer.
To setup the wireless rear speaker kit included with the soundbar, first use the color-coded speaker wires to connect the rear speakers to its wireless module and place these three in the back of your room. Plug the wireless receiver module power cord into an electrical outlet and into the wireless receiver module to turn on the wireless receiver module.
Press and hold the ID SET button on the back of the rear speaker for at least 5 seconds or until the blue light starts blinking. Turn off your soundbar and press the Up button on the remote for 5 seconds. The ID SET message will appear on the soundbar for a short time and then disappear.
