Theatre quality sound in your home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had honestly started to lose faith in soundbars until I finally purchased this set up and hooked it to my TV. The sound quality is amazing. My previous soundbar would be turned all the way up, I actually have to keep turning this down it’s so loud and crisp. I don’t struggle to hear conversations anymore…I can even hear background noise that I definitely didn’t hear before. It’s truly a game changer for a home theatre.
I wasn’t expecting the bar and the subwoofer to be so heavy. My previous sound bar I could handle with one hand, this one needs two. It’s barely a con though. It is also a lot bulkier than I thought it would be; however, I’m willing to take these superficial cons to have this amazing sound.
Pros: Sound quality. True surround sound. My tv remote controls the sound system so I don’t have to use two remotes like my previous set up.
Cons: It’s a little heavy and fairly large. The subwoofer is also a lot heavier than I was expecting. (I have no other cons to this equipment so far and even this is barely a con)
I would recommend this to a friend!

Room Filling Thunderous Dolby Atmos Experience

1) The soundbar, rear speakers, subwoofer linked each other automatically. LED indicator at the back to show Link status.
2) The rear speakers, soundbar and subwoofer come with 4 power cables (2 – 8 feet long and 2 – 5 feet long cables) and you can use them on any of these devices based on distance from power outlet
3) App setup was a breeze as I already had Smart Things app.
4) You are able to switch between various sources like Bluetooth Devices, Digital Audio/Toslink port or TV through HDMI/ARC and 2 more HDMI sources
5) Very Loud Thunderous Room Filling Sound you will hear very clearly from everywhere. I did not increase the volume over 24% as it was already loud
6) Setting allows you to automatically adjusts the sound based on the room with Spacefit Soundpro setting, Sound elevation fills any audio into a room filling sound, Active Voice amplifier helps you in listening to voice more clearly during movie scenes.
7) Sound Mode lets you choose between Standard, Surround, Game Pro and AI Adaptive Sound and I prefer AI adaptive as its very accurate to adjust for movies and songs
8) Equalizer allows you to change the Bass and Treble settings. You can change Channel Level and sync audio if there is a lag between the video and audio
9) Advanced Sound setting allow you to add voice, bass enhancement and switch to Night Mode or make the bass moderate or enable virtual sound
10) All the above settings can also be changed using the including remote although I used the app most of the time
11) Q-Symphony is a unique feature where this system works with Samsung TVs speakers to give an even more enhanced experience
Room for Improvement
1) The soundbar and rear speakers are big and heavy. The subwoofer is of the right size though.
2) You need to figure out a power outlet for the rear speaker as these require power connection. The audio connection is wireless though with the soundbar
3) I wish there was a passthrough HDMI as well so that I could have connected my Google Chromecast and other HDMI devices with this Soundbar and the output to TV

HW-Q990H Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, what a sound system. This HW-Q990H has blown me away with its easy out-of-the-box, crystal clear sound and customizable settings. The device was plug-and-play with all the necessary cables provided. Once connected, it easily filled the room of its surround sound at a medium-low setting. I was surprised with how effective the bass is for its size and weight. In the samsung smart things app, the features are extremely easy to customize to your listening experience desired and has made the experience way more enjoyable. I like being able to quickly adjust the settings for when I am watching a movie, listening to music or gaming. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a powerful quality sound system.

Immersive Sound and Premium Home Theater Experienc

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Q990F and recently upgraded to Q990H and difference is noticeable with new features. It seems to elevate the experience with new features like Sound Elevation and Active Voice Amplifier Pro has enhanced movie experience with clear dialogs and better sound positioning. The new AI adaptive sound mode seems to adapt to different type of content and enhance the audio, making the experience much more rich and studio quality from previous version, it eliminate the need to adjust sound mode for different type of content without need to manually switch. However I had issue after firmware update sub and rear had no sound although they were connected with blue light and to power cycle main bar and pair then again had to do this twice but however now everything has been working flawless and it has been stable for past two days.
Overall this upgrade seems more polished, immersive and intelligent home theater system

Incredible, immersive sound

I have to preface by saying I'm not a serious audiophile, so this review will not be full of technical jargon. I needed a new sound bar system at the same time this one was made available, so I jumped at the opportunity to purchase it. First impressions were just how heavy and substantial this system is. The subwoofer is small but mighty. Even the side speakers have substantial weight to them. The center speaker has a low profile but significant depth. Set up was beyond simple. Just an HDMI eARC connection (cable included) that my TV recognized immediately. The center speaker also has an optical connection option for older TVs. It comes with brackets for mounting the side speakers, but I did not mount mine. The subwoofer and side speakers paired seamlessly with no issues. I was literally up and running with the system in less than 30 minutes - including the unboxing. The sound from this thing is incredible, and I can't even imagine how loud it actually gets, as I never turned it up past 20 (and I think it goes to 100). It has something called SpaceFit Sound, meaning it has sensors that allow it to adapt the sound to the size and layout of your room. If you have it hooked up to a newer Samsung TV (I don't), you can also take advantage of Q-Symphony technology. The Samsung Sound app makes it easy to control the output, the mode (i.e., standard, surround, game pro and AI adaptive) and the equalizer settings. Bonus, it also works with Alexa. I've only been using it for a few days and haven't even had a chance to watch a movie with the Dolby Atmos experience, but I'm definitely looking forward to it. So far, it's fair to say that I'm thrilled with this purchase. (For reference, the center speaker in my photo is sitting between the legs of a 75" TV and it barely fits.) #InsidersQseriesandMusicStudio
