Better than going to the movies!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting a new speaker system for awhile now but, I never knew how badly I needed the upgrade until I got this Samsung HW-Q990H soundbar. To put it simply, the sound is just amazing. With the included rear speakers everything from movies to video games add a bit more realism to it and makes me feel like I am really there. This isn't my first Samsung soundbar and while I think my old one was amazing it is clear Samsung keeps getting better and better with every new model they make. This Soundbar can decode both Dolby Atmos and DTS so it is suited for pretty much any media you can throw at it.
My only complaint is I wish it came with something to mount the rear speakers to the wall. I was able to find a universal speaker stand which does the trick but, an included wall mount would have been nice.
Overall I would (and already have) absolutely recommend this Soundbar!

Booming Surround Sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung HW-Q990H surround sound system provides excellent theater quality sound. It offers 7 surround sound formats to include Dolby Atmos. It allows for HDMI, wireless and Bluetooth connections. It was very easy to setup using the Samsung Smart things App and Spacefit Sound Pro which helps with the room calibration to ensure quality sound for the space.

Sound of perfection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Q990H has made a huge impact on my listening experience. The sound bar makes looks nice and it not too bulky. The sound coming from the bar is nice and even and having the up firing and side firing speakers really elevates the sound to a new level giving a height to the sound. Placing the rear speakers took some adjusting but once you get it in the right spot was a huge difference in sound immersion. The subwoofer gave a nice subtle rumble without trying to break my windows. Using the q symphony feature added more depth to the sound and I could not differentiate between the sound from the soundbar and the sound from the tv. Overall the Q990H was the upgrade that I needed and brought my movie watching experience to the next level.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying the Samsung HW‑Q990H sounds incredible. The audio is crisp and clear, and the bass is powerful without being overwhelming. The surround sound adds a level of depth I didn’t realize I was missing—it truly transforms the listening experience. This system is far superior to my previous soundbar and subwoofer.
I’ve played music through the HW‑Q990H as well, and the sound quality is outstanding. I enjoy rock music and prefer it loud, and this system delivers excellent volume and clarity without distortion. I haven’t even needed to turn it past level 22, which says a lot about its power and performance.
That said, the setup process is not user‑friendly. I ran into issues getting everything connected, as the instructions are unclear and the app doesn’t fully explain the steps. I’m also experiencing a voice delay that I haven’t been able to resolve. The delay is distracting and takes away from an otherwise premium experience. I contacted a local installer who gave me a few tips, but at this point I may need to have the system professionally installed.
Once the setup issues—especially the voice delay—are resolved, I truly believe this could be one of the best sound systems on the market. The sound quality alone is exceptional; the setup is the only thing holding it back.
UPDATE: The install was completed. The advice i received from the professional installer worked. I still have a small delay which is probably being caused by the cable tv. It is noticeable during live events. But the sound on this soundbar is AWESOME!!!

Big Upgrade That Everyone in the House Can Enjoy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung HW-Q990H Soundbar difference from our Q990F is quite significant. The sound became more three-dimensional due to the combined work of the soundbar, subwoofer, and rear speakers.
First of all, I want to highlight that the clarity of the dialogue was achieved due to the active voice amplifier pro. This function ensures the correct reproduction of speech, and it does not become distorted at high levels. Another advantage is the Sound Elevation function. It allows you to feel more comfortable listening to films and series, because thanks to the effect of depth, movies become more cinematographic.
There is another interesting feature AI adaptive sound mode. It allows you to automatically adapt sound according to the material being watched. Regardless of whether it is a movie, a film or music, this option always provides quality sound.
In terms of usability, it is convenient to operate every day, and the interface operates correctly.
