No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This HW-Q990H 11.1.4ch setup delivers an unmatched audio experience. Calibration was a breeze, automatically optimizing the sound profile for my room right out of the box. Placement of the subwoofer and rear speakers was straightforward, and I experienced flawless synchronization with zero audio lag between the units. The clarity of dialogue during feature films is pristine, ensuring you never miss a quiet line. Most importantly, the level of immersion is unreal. When firing up the my Playstation to jump into my No Man's Sky, the overhead channels make atmospheric storms, creature sounds, and spaceship engines sound like they are right inside the room with you. Worth absolutely every penny.

In fact, the audio quality is so impressive that we have actually stopped going to the movie theaters as often because our home system sounds so great now.
