Excellent quality speaker system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This all in one system has beautiful 3.1.1 surround sound and plays both music and movies with excellent quality. My wife thinks the quality of this speaker is better than the full surround we have in our basement. The speaker works great as a standalone music device and with stunning sound quality. My family thinks this device sounds better than the multispeaker surround system we have in our basement theater. Overall the quality is super impressive and it was a cinch to set up through the simple to use Samsung app.

Small but Mighty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This speaker BUMPS!!! Incredible sound, especially in the vocals department when listening to my favorite tunes. The bass is there, but doesn't go out of its way to become overbearing. Even with this single unit, the audio comes in full and fills the room. The speaker is highly portable with the integrated grab handle on the back of the unit, which will make outdoor movie nights and camping trips a delight with this speaker. The speaker can work with just a Bluetooth connection, but then the Samsung Sound app cannot be used to take advantage of the additional features and additional audio settings, which is quite the letdown for when WiFi is not available wherever I have the speaker set up at.
Overall, I'm extremely impressed with the big performance in such a small package.

Amazing speaker (with a Q-Symphony sized caveat)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. For such a small and unassuming speaker, this beauty sure packs a punch! Powerful, room-enveloping sound that has already brought so much versatility to our living space. I've already used it for background music while working and studying, loud energy and vibes when we're having a big party, ambient music for when we host dinner, and, because we have a Samsung TV, the ability via Q-Symphony to double up as another TV speaker while watching movies and shows. The design is sleek, simple and stunning--definitely a sight for sore eyes and so pleasant that my wife hasn't even complained about its newfound presence in our home.
Given that it's a 3.1.1 system, you can clearly hear both the rumble of the internal subwoofer and the power of the upfiring speaker providing Dolby Atmos overhead sounds.
All that said, there's one pretty big caveat--I bought the Studio 7 in large part because Samsung advertised it as Q-Symphony compatible alongside my Q990H soundbar (and 2024 Samsung TV). And while it does indeed connect to the Q990H , it only does so via WiFi. For perspective, I connect my Q990H to my TV via HDMI eARC. And generally, even when connected via HDMI, the Q990H's rear speakers connect wirelessly to the soundbar and, by extension, the TV.
However, the Music Studio 7 does not work with the soundbar when it's connected via HDMI. I can only connect it to the TV and soundbar via WiFi Q-Symphony, and thus my entire sound output quality goes down. Granted, the soundstage is significantly expanded and wider now that I've added another 3.1.1 speaker to the existing 11.1.4 system that is the Q990H. But regardless, the sacrifice in downgrading from HDMI eARC to Wifi connectivity certainly gives me some pause.
For a standalone speaker, it's one of the very best compact wireless speakers I've ever heard--musicality is phenomenal. And for any Samsung TV/soundbar owners, the Q-Symphony compatibility adds one more layer of intrigue, but the output so far has been a bit disappointing given I have to downgrade my soundbar ouput to wifi--instead of keeping it on HDMI and adding the Music Studio 7 to my Q990H the way I have my rears added. All in all, though, it's hard for me to give this phenomenal speaker anything less than five stars because it really is JUST. THAT. GOOD. An amazing purchase through and through, but for the niche Samsung home theater buyer (like me), beware the minor limitations I pointed out if trying to expand your soundbar soundstage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s not cheap, but the sound quality, features, and ease of setup make it worth it. Right out of the box, you notice the build it has a solid chassis and real weight that feels like quality, not just bulk. Setup took just a few minutes, from unboxing to pairing with the SmartThings app. The power cord is pretty long which is great!
I tested it with Tidal and Amazon Music on both my tablet and phone, and also linked it to my Samsung Freestyle projector for TV and movies. The vocal clarity is impressive it genuinely feels like the artist is performing in the room. Even at higher volumes, vocals and dialogue stay clean and steady. Music sounds full and balanced, and the bass holds up well without distortion. As you push the volume, the bass rolls off to maintain overall sound quality, which is a smart tradeoff.
Watching movies was just as enjoyable. At times, I forgot I wasn’t using my soundbar. There’s a noticeable sense of surround with the left, right, center, and top speakers working together. Explosions and action scenes have real presence comparable to a small-to-mid soundbar with a small sub. I’d decided to pair this with my Samsung Frame TV for both performance and aesthetics over a traditional soundbar.
I already use the SmartThings app regularly for TVs and appliances, so adding this speaker was seamless. Assigning it to a room and grouping it with other devices worked without any issues.
I was initially a little disappointed there’s no remote, but honestly, it doesn’t need one. It’s a clean, non-intrusive piece that looks great and performs even better. Up close, the sweet spot is slightly off-axis rather than directly in front, but once it fills the room, it doesn’t matter where you’re sitting, walking or dancing around.
Bottom line: this is a strong re-entry for Samsung into lifestyle speakers. It’s one of the better-looking, do-it-all speakers out there. I’d like to see more color options or skins in the future, but overall, I’m very pleased. It’s easy to live with and even easier to enjoy every day. I plan on purchasing a few to place around the house.

Great Sounding Music Studio

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really looking forward to trying this Music Studio. We are always playing music in our house so I knew it would get a lot of use. I was not disappointed. Right out of the box, all I had to do was plug it in, connect it to my WIFI and download the Samsung Sound App. It was extremely easy to do. Once it is connected to your phone, any music source can be played. It comes with Apple Music, Spotify and YouTube Music preloaded, but I don't have any of those. No problem. I loaded up my Pandora Radio and just that easy it plays the songs. I think this would be easy to use for anyone even someone who is not good technically. The sound quality is unbelievable. It can be as loud or as low as you want. If you need to take a phone call or get interrupted, no problem, it stops with the press of a button and starts where you left off when you are ready. I am really enjoying this Music Studio and really cannot say enough good things about it. It can also be connected to other devices in your household if you chose. I am sure that If you get this Music Studio, you will not be disappointed. You will never need to buy any other speaker device. This one does it all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this wireless speaker! The sound surrounds you to make you feel like you have been transported to a whole other place. The music is crisp and clear. Very durable and versatile speaker to take with you when wanting to be a statement setter. You can hear each instrument clearly in a song, it's almost as if you are in a studio with the band themselves.
