Not a stand-alone camera
on April 22, 2025

Unfortunately, this device is heavily reliant on the smartphone and the camera/zoom that device has. Having to use your device and keep it suspended over 3+ meters in the air for periods exceeding 45 minutes, makes the XbotGo less appealing and I found myself returning it unopened.

Basketball Tracking
on April 21, 2025

I really like the convenience of not having to hold my phone and go back and forth. However I notice that during timeouts the camera will track any movement that isn't basketball related. Then it will focus in on that person and once the game starts again it doesn't pick up and track like it should. I am still learning so I might have a setting not applied like I need to. Other than this one flaw it does everything it says it will do.

Better than nothing but

it can be slow to track the ball, and sometimes gets stuck not looking at the action at all, meaning you miss it all. One time it was sitting there just watching the goalie when everyone else was at the other end of the field.

Where Have You Been All My Life??
on April 21, 2025

My kids play multiple sports all yesterday round and I like to record them because life is short. I feel like I'm really not paying attention fully when I record however. I found the XbotGo Chameleon and it's a game changer. I just set it and forget it and it recorded my son's entire AAU basketball game. There were a couple instances where it got confused, but there were 25 games going on in thr place so I can see why. Other dads who saw it asked about it and are now going to purchase it. Ill be recording my first soccer game on Sunday. Can't recommend enough!

I hate the watermark... I am considering returning the product because of that reason.

Great product

Great for recording games whilst you can sit and watch the game yourself. Only downside is the watermark logo and timestamp. Please get rid of this or make it an option to have on or off, in particular the time stamp

Best gadget I bought!

Best thing I’ve bought as I coach both kids teams so it’s great to watch back and see the games.
