I used it to record my kid's basketball game. It shows scores and rebounds in real - time. Analyzing the game by watching the video later is a breeze. So practical!

Great hardware, Software needs some improvements

Got the device a few weeks ago. So far I used it for a few soccer 7v7 games.
The hardware if quite neat. Works without a problem and connection to the phone is always very fast. The remote control also connects very fast and comes very handy to control the device, specially when you need to correct the camera from losing track. And that is the main problem. While the camera does a decent job at tracking the soccer games, it tends to lose track of the action and start pointing the opposite way. This happens often when the ball goes out of bounds, The camera seem to track the kids moving in the field in that case instead of keeping with the location of the ball and has a tendency to focus on the kids going back to defense position. This lead to missing a couple of goals and having to keep an eye on the position of the camera and correct its position with the remote. Improvements in the tracking and the mobile phone in general would definitely increase the rating to 5 stars. Thanks

It’s ok

For the price and no subscription it’s pretty ok. It follows the ball (soccer) well most of the time but it often doesn’t show most of the players so using the film to review if kids are in position is difficult sometimes. Additionally if there’s multiple games going on it will pick up another field’s ball often. Having to use your iPhone can be problematic because it can over heat easily. I am in Texas so even in fall months it’s 90+ and the phone will shut down when it over heats. The video editing is not intuitive so if you are trying to do a lot of it I would think that it’s difficult.

Fails to follow hockey properly, very frustrating, missing plays.

Was excited to use this product. It does an okay job tracking hockey but I have to constantly use the PAN function to reposition the video. It drifts off and follows players "going to the bench" vs staying in the play where the puck is. When it needs to track fast moving action the motor is so slow and misses the action as it moves from one end to the other. It's fine when the action is slower but if there's a turnover, and goes from one direction to another it has a very difficult time sometimes. Additionally the software either is having issues interfacing to youtube live or my phones hardware cannot keep up even though it is a pixel 7, but my live video was awful last night and the parents watching from home who couldn't be at the game were very dissapointed.

Better than holding a phone

Use for U13 boys soccer. Tracks about 85% of the game. Misses most corner kicks, free kicks and PKs. Near the end of games it really starts to lose tracking, it just starts spinning around in circles.

It's hard to tell ice - hockey players apart, but the Jersey number tracking feature solved this problem. It made recording the game more accurate!

After placing Xbotgo in a good position, I used my phone to operate it remotely. I could adjust the shooting angle and start/stop recording without being restricted by distance. It gives me so much freedom to control the shooting. So cool!
