Handy and portable. hopefully the tracking software/ app can be improved further with smoother and more accurate tracking and with AI zoom features as well.

I purchased the XbotGo Chameleon. The unit made it to me and so did the tripod as ordered. I have only used the unit for 1 basketball game, but it did work with my I-phone 11 to record the game and it also was easy to export the videos to my YouTube channel for sharing. The app and device are both intuitive and user-friendly. My only issue is that the AI cut off one of the baskets during game play. I did have the unit set up at center court and maybe need to do a better job with calibration.

Decent but not as good as VEO

It’s a good device to capture some of the game footage but not all. It’s a bit slow and once in a while goes where the ball is actually on the other side. Color of video comes out looking somewhat vibrant and nice. Quick and easy to upload the videos post-match. Best thing for me is that it’s very light and portable. Unlike the VEO, I can take it on the plane to travel with me on a plane to remote places.

I love my chameleon it’s an excellent product, i highly recommend it. Before i couldn’t watch my daughters soccer games due to work now im able to watch and not miss a game. The setup is easy my 12 yr old son was able to do it the first time no issues. Only issue i would say is with the ability to control the camera with i phone watch seems buggy at times but besides that its an excellent product.

In fairness, my evaluation is limited to my smartphone ability. It tends to overhead and has a short batter life. However:
1. I'd like the smart phone clamp to be wider. I had to remove the protective case from the smartphone to get the phone into the Chameleon. The instructions state the case must be removed to prevent overheating.

2. The Chameleon needs to be connected to a Smartphone. I was unable to use it with a small pocket camera without having a blue tooth connection to the phone. Thus, I would be unable to set up the Chameleon far away from where I was sitting.
3. The Chameleon needs to be waterproof. Sorry, my daughter plays soccer in the rain and this capability needs to do likewise.
4. I was unable to find where on my smartphone the Chameleon stores it's photos. My smartphone is older and I have to manage files sizes.
