I’ve used other gimbals before, but none come close to this one. The footage looks so good that even my friends thought it was shot professionally!
I couldn’t believe how well the AI-powered tracking worked during my son’s football game. Every play was captured perfectly. It feels like having a professional cameraman!
I can shoot for a long time during matches without worrying about the battery. Moreover, it can be charged in short time. The design is really thoughtful!
Setup is with Samsung Galaxy S24+ I record games for both school and travel teams. I have to switch between stream urls (some stream to GameChanger, other's stream to youtube). I wish I could "save a list" of my streaming urls and keys and just switch between them. To change streaming urls, I have to copy and paste each time, it would be nice to enter them once, then just switch between them.
I've turned "auto zoom" off (for basketball). It just zooms in too fast, making the final video feel jerky. I wish there was a zoom speed or some way to slow down the zooming so it doesn't come out so jerky. Actually, I don't mind just turning the auto zoom off, I think the final video is better.
I also wish the app would honor vertical or horizontal layout. Seems when I'm entering streaming URL's, the app only supports "horizontal" layout.
It does occasionally lose track of the players (it might pickup a fan walking by or a ref that is way back out of the play). Not sure if you can ignore "people without jersey's" it would be nice and even funny to have an "ignore ref" mode.
All in all, I'm satisfied with the device, I'll keep playing around with different settings to even make it better.
As an Apple fan, I'm so happy that Xbotgo can connect to the Apple Watch. I don't need to take out my phone to operate and control the angle directly by my Apple Watch.
I used Xbotgo to go live streaming and broadcast a basketball competition, and the audience loved it. The live streaming video quality is clear, and the latency is low.
