Incredibly sleek and a breeze to clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently put this 30" induction cooktop in as part of a kitchen renovation, and it looks incredibly sleek. It fits the new space perfectly.
If you are on the fence about switching to induction and aren't quite ready to fully commit, I highly recommend a hybrid setup like this. I paired this 30" unit with a gas burner next to it, and it's the perfect size to get you used to this new way of cooking. Honestly though, induction has become so fast and precise that I’m not even sure how much I’ll actually use the gas burner moving forward. You won't regret making the jump.
The touch panel controls do take a little bit of getting used to if you're coming from traditional knobs, but it's a quick adjustment. By far, the absolute best part about it is how easy it is to clean, but I am more cautious with it now just to keep it looking pristine.
One piece of advice if you are renovating: Make sure you double-check the depth of the unit before you finalize your cabinets. You will most likely need to cut into the cabinet frame below to make it fit properly.
Overall, it's a gorgeous, low-maintenance upgrade. If you're thinking about trying induction, this is a great way to ease into it.

Beautiful and Functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had long been looking to switch to an induction cooktop, especially after moving into a new house with a 30-inch range. The old range was functional, but limited. This Frigidaire Induction range is beautiful - the matte finish is outstanding (TBD on how it holds up long-term!) - and it works like a charm! We needed a new range that was 30-amp, and I was excited to find this one was. It made sense to me that induction would be lower-amperage given the energy efficiency, but I did find some other ones that required 40 amps. Despite the 30-amp pull, it heats so quickly. The PowerBoost setting (on each of the burners!) is so nice, especially for a quick dinner. We can get water to boil in about 2 minutes, so no more waiting around. Overall, I'm very pleased with this cooktop, and have high hopes that it will hold up over time, both aesthetically and functionally.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The best cooktop range period.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range is an absolutely delightful addition to our kitchen. We have used it now for over three months and what a difference. Meals are cooked faster, with more precision and with less fluctuation than what we had with a regular electric cooktop. Yes we did have to get new pots and pans but we knew that our old set would not work with this range. I would highly recommend induction and specifically the Frigidaire brand for their next kitchen upgrade!

The only thing I still need to get used to is adjusting the power level. For example, when changing the power from level 7 to level 8, sometimes I can do it with a single touch, but other times it takes a few tries.

It heats up incredibly fast, gives precise temperature control, and the cooking surface is sleek and easy to wipe clean after meals. The MatteGuard finish is a nice touch because it helps keep fingerprints and scratches from showing, so it stays looking new. The bridge element is also great for larger cookware.
