[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this phone from a trade-in offer deal, and I'd say it was the best idea ever to choose this one! It does things better than what I had previously (Pixel 8 Pro). I absolutely love the built in privacy display first of all! It amazes me how such a thing is possible. Second of all, I love the Samsung ui and its apps! The wallet app really puts the Google wallet app to shame. It does so much stuff better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgrading to the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra from my Galaxy S22 Ultra, and also setting up an S26 for my daughter, ended up being a much bigger leap than I expected.
The first thing that really surprised me was just how refined everything feels. The performance boost is noticeable right away, but what stood out most is how much Samsung has leaned into Galaxy AI. Features like real-time call translation, smart photo editing (where you can remove objects or adjust scenes with a tap), and the AI-assisted note summaries have quickly become things I use every day. It’s not just gimmicky,it actually saves time and makes the phone feel more helpful and intuitive.
Design wise, I’m really happy with the shift to more rounded edges. On my S22 Ultra, those sharper corners would dig into my palm during longer use, and that’s completely gone now. It’s just more comfortable to hold, especially during extended scrolling or reading sessions.
One thing I do miss, though, is the Bluetooth functionality in the S Pen. It was nice being able to use it as a remote for photos or presentations, and it feels like a small step back losing that convenience.
Another unexpected moment was flipping the phone over the camera lenses are huge now. Because I used to upgrade every year, I never really noticed how much they’d grown, but after a gap, it’s very obvious. That said, the camera performance absolutely backs it up.
Overall, the S26 Ultra feels like a meaningful upgrade, even with the small trade-offs.
