Privacy display

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The phone feels great specially how light it is compared to previous models. The camera is stunning and one can't complain anything. I just feel the privacy display doesn't perform as good as I thought or as it was advertised. It would work great in intense lighting like outdoors but not so much in the dark. All the review videos are done in studio lights that make it seem like it's working great but if you take it in the dark it does not perform that well. I had to buy a privacy screen which doesn't work very well with the new pixl arrangement of the phone so you can only put a clear protector i guess.

Great features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The battery life is great. Night photography is amazing. And the Galaxy AI is a perfect companion to have for moving fluidly throughout the day. I'm planning to get a bluetooth galaxy watch soon to have a seamless fitness tracker.

Replaces S23 Plus with S26 Ultra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my s23 Plus with an S26 Ultra since I often had to charge teh S23 early in the evening. I received the S26 a few weeks ago. The first thing I noticed was teh S26U screen is easier to read. I tried the privacy display and did not notice andy change in clarity, but it prevented me from using the phone when it was angled to my face. I turned it off for normal use but will use it when concerned about shoulder surfing.
I am experimenting with the pen and like the ability to take notes when teh phone is locked. It will take a while to get used to the lack of resistance when writting on glass verses paper. I have not seen any issues using it with my non-Samsung magnetic case but be careful on which case you buy. There are on-line video showing which cases are compatable with the pen.
Since I use my phone primarily for calls, text, email and wb browsing, I haven't yet tried Galaxy AI nor taking pictures. I will try those soon.
At night I used the same wireless charger I used with my S23 Plus. If fully charges the phone while I am sleeping. I have a 25W car charger but haven't used it enough to see the decrease in charging time. I initally charged my phone using Supper Fast Charging by pluggin it into a 65W charger. The phone quickly charged and did not feel warm.
The S26 Ultra is a good replacement for the S23 Plus.

No Complaints, Great Phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone hits all the marks, leaving nothing left to desire. I love the new Galaxy AI integrations they include with the phone. It has many uses but, if anything, Galaxy AI is very fun to use.
The privacy screen is the main thing I like about this phone. I know many people who bought separate "privacy screen protector" and I've always wondered if that was possible to do just with the native phone screen. And here it is! Super nice if you're on a subway or airplane.
The S pen one thing about this phone that caught me by surprise. I really like using it. It's smooth and fits well in the hand despite it's thinness. If you need to take a quick note you don't even need to turn your phone on. Just pop out the S pen and it automatically launches the notes app, instantly. Great for quick grocery shop runs haha.
All in all, love this phone and all of its features. Will stick with this S series for a while.

Software is Garbage

I have Had most of the S modela and this phone sucks I can't believe I traded my ultra 24. It processes so slow. My apps glitch is cant even install Facebook messenger I've done every recommendation. The AI cant even remember a convos from 2 mins ago. It constantly gives wrong answers or messes up simple task . The AI on my 24 ultra was amazing it helped so much with my job now I spend 45 min trying to convert something to a PDF. I want my old phone back
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Samsung at its finest!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off I am not on the AI bus but do appreciate the thought and applications it has. The Ultra is absolutely built with precision, for those that want more out thier phones! The S Pen is on point no pun intended, with better capabilities and technical features that I enjoy. The updated cameras are spit on for all of the pictures me and my finace take when we are out bird watching or exploring! I truly enjoy the versatility and customization of the entire interface with themes and tools to make it what you want.
So far my only issue is swype to text does not auto capitalize the letter i.....
I left samsung due to my finace and daughter having Iphones, but the fiance has the new Ultra now and just working on the daughter to make the switch!
