[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the S26 ultra for the privacy display and it doesn't disappoint. The galaxy AI feature for answering calls is a plus.

The battery life sucks, like really bad! The privacy screen option isn't as good as the actual screen protector. It's also very heavy, but if you like heavy phones, then it'll be good for you. The camera is great and some other cool features. I honestly liked my 25 ultra better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Blazing Fast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything about this phone is much quicker and snappier than my old S23 Ultra. Apps open faster. camera is faster. games are smoother. scrolling is smoother. Charging is faster. Fingerprint reader is faster. NFC payments are faster. Wi-Fi is faster. 5G is faster and is more usable in places with spotty coverage.
Unfortunately the Spen is now smaller and you can't use it as a remote to control the camera or play/pause media anymore.

Faster, clearer, better camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just upgraded from the S23+ to the S26 Ultra and I am impressed. Love the built- in privacy mode (I used to use a screen protector for that), the stylus, and the general processing speed and innovations on this model. The immediate translation/ interpretation mode using Galaxy AI is fun. I am very happy with this purchase.

Privacy Screen
on March 20, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must admit, I had some initial reservations about this privacy screen. However, I am genuinely impressed with its performance. The clarity it offers is quite remarkable, and the privacy it provides is surprisingly effective. I truly did not anticipate such excellent results. It has exceeded my expectations in every way.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying I upgraded to the S26 ultra from an S24 ultra. Overall I’m not impressed. I’m guessing the tech change curve is slowing down and two years doesn’t get you what it used to. Neither cpu, screen, battery, nor camera improved as much as between my S20 to S22 nor my S22 to S24.
While I notice a slight increase in speed it isn't leaps and bounds better.
I was really disappointed that the display was NOT 10bit as originally touted. Hoping to see what difference it would have made. While display is a bit brighter the adaptive brightness still doesn’t work for me. Samsung needs to allow the user to adjust it. IE set minimum/maximum over which it adjusts. And the privacy display is a nice gimmick but not worth the loss of screen brightness.
One of my biggest complaints is with the camera bump out. If you lay phone down on desk it rocks something fierce. Perhaps Samsung can look at rotating it 90 degrees and center it vertically across the top edge of the phone. The camera larger aperture has improved pictures in low light slightly. Camera tech has maxed out and only increasing pixel count and improving optical zoom are left. AI can't fix this you just can’t create accurate picture content that wasn’t captured to start with.
As for the AI it seldom suggests things I find useful.
Please bring back Spen remote picture taking.
Overall I’m still a Sammy fan and will most likely buy again, though I may wait three years next time. Had more to say but not enough roo
