Not sure what to think so far.

The display colors are so dull compared to older models. I have vividness turned all the way up, and my s22 ultra is still more vibrant even on the factory settings. Before people say "make sure to turn this and that off" they already are, no matter what settings I tweak the display just doesn't compare to my s22 ultra and its a real let down. Max screen brightness has definitely been improved though. Also why do we still not have the Bluetooth connectivity of the S-pen back? What are you guys doing Samsung.... (also the s-pen seems so brittle)
Cameras appear really great so far although I am saddened by the downgrade of the front facing camera vs the s22 ultra's. Battery performance is awesome so far, it does get a tad warm when playing certain games though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Same old, same old

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The big feature of s26 ultra is supposed to be the privacy screen. But after using it for several days I just turned it off. In extremely rare cases you actually need a feature like this. And its not like the feature is without its drawbacks. The screen genuinely looks worse with it being on. Best to just keep it off.
Barring the screen, what new stuff is here compares to 25 ultra? There's nothing, really. The galaxy AI features are cute. But s25 ultra can do all the same stuff.
As an yearly upgrade this doesn't feel like an upgrade at all. Almost a downgrade because of the screen.
This is a reliable phone. But it's also a boring one.

Worth the upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra to the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, and it definitely feels like a real upgrade. The phone is noticeably faster, smoother, and handles multitasking way better than my S22 ever did.
The camera improvements are also really noticeable, especially in low light and when using zoom. Photos look sharper and more detailed, and video stabilization is better too.
One of the coolest additions is Galaxy AI, which makes things like photo editing, searching, and everyday tasks easier and more automated. It actually feels useful instead of just being a gimmick.
Overall, if you're coming from the S22 Ultra, the S26 Ultra is a big step up in performance, camera quality, and smart features. Definitely worth the upgrade.

Nice physical features and love the privacy screen

I do enjoy how easy it is to get more information on a picture just by circling it using Galaxy AI to pull more related articles. Another perk to this upgrade are how smooth the graphics are and the speed of how the programs run.

Good phone but not worth upgrading from s24 ultra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The phone is nice but not much different than my s24 ultra. The S24 ultra had a sturdier titanium build, a Bluetooth S pen and surprisingly a better display. The color looks less vibrant than the s24 ultra. The S24 ultra had this color issue when it came out and Samsung fixed it with an update. They need to do the same with the S26 ultra. The camera is more or less the same. And the camera bump makes it that with a case laying in its back it wobbles as opposed to the s24 ultra with the case on it I can lay it flat on its back. The privacy display does hide that much when it is on and when you put it on maximum it makes the screen look grey when looking straight at it. The Galaxy AI features are more or less the same as well. Overall Im disappointed. I give the phone 3 stars because it is a good phone but compared to the s24 ultra its not with the money foe the upgrade. It feels like more of a downgrade. Wait for the next one.
