Amazing innovation and a step forward

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the new shape and innovation with built in privacy screen and also the 65W Super Fast Charging! The only caveats being the S-pen which only goes in one way (by the way love the fact that the pen now matches the phone color) and privacy screen really effects the screen quality.

Love the upgrade to Device and UI

And I love the many upgrades to the One UI, including the prominent countdown for upcoming alarms (brilliant!), etc.
Seamless with my fantastic Galaxy Watch Ultra!
I am very thrilled and excited about the Galaxy AI features and looking forward to taking full advantage of the many new and evolving features that brings!

So tired of people peeking at my screen. All the Galaxy AI features are super cool, editing photos on my new S26 is probably one of my favorite things to do; and it helps that IT HAS A PEN FOR THIS!!!

Privacy screen, great phone design but bad UI

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Galaxy AI in Samsung's Phone app is basically what other Android phones need to start using already. It's useful and a very welcome change to the norm that Android users are stuck with for most other brands.
The battery on the S26 should have been increased for this year but it's still stuck at 5000 mAh which is not acceptable for the price. The phone is needlessly thin sacrificing battery capacity and anything else you could have received if Samsung had just made the phone a few millimeters thicker. No we do not need it thinner their phone that we already have right now in the S26 series.
I do love the fact that we finally have flat sides instead of rounded sides on older Samsung phones. No Bluetooth on the s pen is just dumb. The privacy screen is an absolute must feature any flagship phone. I hope Samsung continues to improve the privacy screen feature in future models so that the viewing angles are much more restrictive when the privacy screen feature is enabled.
Another aspect where the S26 series falls short is the fact that one UI 8.5 is obnoxiously annoying and not designed by someone who actually uses the phone multiple times a day. For example the notification rows are always combined per app which means you always have to expand notifications if you have multiple notifications from the same app. There is no way to change this in the UI unfortunately. This is not how a UI should be designed if you actually want someone to like using your UI.
