Overall great upgrade experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Traded in my old 128 GB Galaxy Note 20 Ultra from 2020 to upgrade to the new Galaxy S26 Ultra 1TB with 16 gigs of Ram.
Upgrading to the Galaxy S26 Ultra is a massive change across six years of evolution, perhaps too many to list. The performance gap is the first thing that I noticed. The S26 Ultra handles Android with a fluidity that made my aging Note felt very sluggish. Tasks that taxed the Note’s processor are now handled with efficiency and significantly better thermal management.
However, a Note loyalist like myself faces some hardware friction. A slight downside is the loss of the S Pen’s Bluetooth camera shutter functionality. The workaround, buying a separate (and now forgetable) Bluetooth shutter button, means carrying an extra accessory that the S Pen used to house internally.
The display also sees a slight trade-off due to the new display with it's new privacy feature. While great for security, I noticed a bit more shifting or dimming if the phone isn't pointed directly at my face. Additionally, the awkward placement of the bottom 5x zoom camera shifts the internal magnets, preventing many MagSafe-style accessories from seating properly (when using a magenetic case). Despite all, the sheer jump in power and software makes the S26 Ultra a formidable, if slightly different, successor to my Note, which I would surely recommend to anyone upgrading from older phones like myself.

Galaxy S26 Ultra: Best Upgrade Yet!

Coming from an S25 Ultra, the differences aren't night-and-day in every way, but the little refinements add up big time.
First off, the build feels noticeably slimmer and lighter—it's easier to hold one-handed during long Netflix sessions or while gaming. The 6.9-inch display is stunning as always, super bright outdoors, and that new Privacy Display is a game-changer. I commute on the train, and being able to tilt the screen privacy mode so nosy neighbors can't peek at my emails or texts? Super useful and feels like real innovation.
Performance is buttery smooth thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip—zero lag in multitasking, editing photos, or running demanding games like Genshin Impact. Battery lasts me all day with heavy use (streaming podcasts, YouTube, social media, and some work emails), and I love how Galaxy AI quietly makes things easier in the background. Photo Assist is smarter now for quick edits (removing photobombers or enhancing low-light shots).
Overall, if you're into a premium Android experience with top-tier productivity, media consumption, gaming, and creative tools, this is worth it. Galaxy AI really elevates the whole thing to feel more "future-proof." Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy S26 Ultra has impressed me in many ways, the new privacy display is very innovative and shows alot of potential. The new Galaxy AI has many handy new features as well, call screening, photo editing, and the new Agentic AI is amazing to see being developed. The new Agentic AI is exactly what the average person has been looking for, something to help streamline tasks to give us more time to focus on what matters. The new Horizontal lock in super steady mode makes it easier than ever to capture special moments with ease. One UI 8.5 has made the samsung experience feel smoother and more satisfying while simultaneously improving usability of simple things like the quick settings panel. Paired with the new Buds 4 Pro which are amazing in their own right makes the experience significantly better. With that being said many of the Agentic AI features are on the cutting edge still, meaning they are still a little hit or miss. The S26 Ultra handles gaming and everyday tasks very well, and the camera is a good step up from the S25 Ultra

The new best samsung

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living the new samsung s26 ultra. I'm able to push my high end games to the highest settings and it runs extremely smooth. The battery life is also extremely long lasting me all day despite how much I abuse it. It's also nice to use the galaxy Ai to make funny photos or fix photos to send to friends and family.

"Galaxy AI" review s26 ultra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's super fast, smooth and much better feel in my hands. I have had the galaxy series since day one so I'm an avid galaxy fan. The s25 ultra was honestly disappointing. It was def slow, bulky the edges would cut into my hand and fingers and literally leave marks. With the s26 ultra it feels much more organic holding it, lighter and overall super pleased with it. The screen is noticably different and better than the s25 ultra as well. I am a real estate broker so my phone is in my hands literally all day. It's much smoother and galaxy AI is truly amazing! The processing is much faster. No lag just power. The biggest upgrades for me is the processing speed, the way it feels in my hand, and the galaxy AI features! That's a massive win for me the rounded corners makes it much more easier to hold and enjoy! The only thing I wish they did was have better color options they need to upgrade the colors for sure but overall it's a noticable upgrade and I love it.
