[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] New Galaxy AI features tied together with Gemini are extremely responsive. New privacy features are amazing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had a few smartphones ever (4 or 5?), but they've all been Samsung. The previous two phones I've had were an S21 Ultra (2021/5 years of use) and an S7 Edge (maybe a "+"; 2016/5 years of use). Due to the extreme lengths I use each phone, my review and impression of any new phone is not quite as consequential as others as there's clearly improvements in every aspect of each phone. That being said, it shows the lasting power of the S series.
I will say, it's not noticeably thinner (opposed to thicker) than an S21 Ultra, nor is it taller (up & down), but it is slightly wider (l to r). The weight feels the same. When I hold the phone one-handed for awhile (streaming shows/YT), it feels slightly heavier. More or less all the same as before.
My biggest complaint with the S21 Ultra was the camera. It looks like a good photo, until you zoom in on a photo. I haven't taken a lot of photos/videos with the S26 Ultra yet, but the initial photos I've taken seem better. The Galaxy AI tool for pictures is neat. The instant moving of an object and the background erasing in the photo editor is new to me and impressive. Some or (all?) of the functions may have been included in previous models, but I'm guessing I'll enjoy this phone more than the previous two.
I do plan to change this phone quicker than I traditionally have - despite the costs.
Word of caution, make sure your Samsung account is working (mine was not) before you make a purchase, if you care about accruing points.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung is better at everything, better quality on camera helps me take the best photos, landscapes, the city, taking pictures of the moon and stars is great, at work I use it a lot with the translation that comes built-in helps me perform tasks in languages I don't understand, and artificial intelligence is very good it helps me a lot by editing photos, helps me in translations, helps me a lot of my whole life and used samsung and a good companion, I recommend them samsung number 1

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Latest Upgraded Bixby, Galaxy AI features like call detector spam call detector, privacy and semi privacy features are top in market and super smooth onui8.5 experience in the latest hardware is super cool. What else is needed for gadget enthusiastic lover like me
I've been using this for a few days now and it's responsive and has a great looking display. I "upgraded" from an S24 Ultra on a whim, and so far I'm seeing very little difference. It does seem to be a little faster in processing on most apps. The cameras have a little better low light performance, but overall the images don't look particularly different. I don't expect to use the AI features, as I've never used any voice response or "concierge" features on any phone. It does seem to do a better job at optimizing battery life, but I haven't had it long enough to determine if that's significant or just the way I've been using it this week.
I do like the rounded corners and the slightly larger usable screen area. The one negative, and the reason I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars, was the camera bump on the back. It protrudes significantly more than on the S24 Ultra. As a result, it doesn't lay flat on a table, while on the 24 that wasn't noticeable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The phone display is really good specially when playing high resolution games like genshing impact, love the privacy feature. The Galaxy AI is really helpful.
