Feature Request:Video Frame Interpolation on Phone
on March 23, 2026
Posted by: Blin980
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hi Samsung, The Galaxy S26 Ultra does not feel like a major upgrade over the previous generation. There are not many standout improvements, and the move from a titanium frame to an aluminum frame makes it feel less premium. I also feel that the privacy feature may have come at the cost of display quality, and the screen looks less impressive than the S25 Ultra. What I would really like to see instead is a video frame interpolation feature. Aside from communication, I mainly use my phone for listening to music and watching videos, so multimedia performance matters a lot to me. Since Galaxy phones already have high-refresh-rate displays, video frame interpolation would make video playback smoother and improve the overall viewing experience. Many other smartphone brands already offer similar features, so I hope Samsung will consider adding it as well, with an option for users to turn it on or off depending on their preference.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I like the S26 Ultra. Definitely could have used a bigger battery capacity. The privacy screen is nice. Gaming is great. Overall a good phone but definitely need Bluetooth back in the s pen and more battery life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really loved the phone. I had the as 25 old trip before this and I think it's a major upgrade, the 65 watt charging charges my phone faster than I thought imaginable. The screen looks amazing in comparison, the only downside is the brightness is kind of shot and there's been many of times where it's just not bright enough at all for me. Especially when I'm outside which is a surprise and also a hindrance. Outside of that, though, I really am loving the phone, and I think it was a worthy upgrade. Everything about it from the weight to the feel. It all is amazing, even if it doesn't weigh less, and I don't know if it's the case that I have, but it's all fantastic. If they could get the brightness locked in, even when the privacy setting is on on-sun some apps are not. It needs to be adjusted and the adaptive brightness definitely doesn't work where I'm constantly having to swipe up on the brightness just to get it visible. I heard that they were creating it so that if you're wearing glasses, sunglasses, that it will make it easier to see. But when I'm wearing my sunglasses, I can hardly see anything. If they could fix those things, it would be fantastic all around. And for anyone who says that the camera quality hasn't upgraded their wrong because my shots look fantastic. Bixby is as bad as it has always been and I wish that they can fix that because it's really not of much use at all.

A much improved S24Ultra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved my S24Galaxy Ultra and felt that the new S26 Ultra was well worth getting. The transition was great, and everything transferred so easily, including Samsung pass. I had a hard time packing my s24 and sending it in for tradein, and I would have loved to keep it as a spare...But the new S26 quickly changed my mind. I have had Samsung S Ultra phones since my Note 20, and love all the features available. I only wish I could use all of them easily. I love my Galaxy buds and Ai watches, and that completes my phone needs. S26 is a terrific product, and is so much better than Iphones...

Great Upgrade from my S24 Ultra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Besides its slightly thinner body, my new S26 Ultra has more rounded corners which combined with the newer Gorilla Armor front glass, the S26 Ultra will survive even harsher treament. Surviving 2M drops and scratches. The faster processor and memory really help the enhanced Galaxy AI features. Love using the AI on photos to search quickly. It is extremely accurate. I added the new Buds4 Pro. They look and perform great! Probably the best buds yet.

Love the way it feels in your hand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is one of the most capable Android phones you can buy, but it feels more like a refined upgrade than a bold reinvention. Its standout feature is the new Privacy Display, which actually feels useful instead of gimmicky, while Samsung’s One UI 8.5 remains one of the strongest software experiences on Android The camera system stays close to last year’s formula, but Samsung appears to have improved the main sensor and processing, which helps with motion capture and overall consistency. Photos can still look a little flat compared with some rivals, even though the phone remains one of the strongest camera phones in Samsung’s lineup. Battery life is solid, and faster charging is a welcome improvement over past Samsung flagships. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is an easy phone to recommend if you want the best Samsung has to offer: a huge display, strong performance, long software support, and genuinely useful new features. It is not the most exciting upgrade in the world, but it is a polished, powerful, and very complete flagship. Samsung slimmed the phone down and made it lighter, which helps a lot on a device this large. The rounded corners and softened edges make it more comfortable to hold, but the camera bump still keeps the design from feeling perfectly balanced. Overall, it looks premium and feels unmistakably like a Galaxy Ultra. And the Galaxy AI integration is just absolutely amazing
