S26 Ultra Review: Incredible Power, Room to Grow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been putting the S26 Ultra through its paces, and it is an absolute workhorse. The massive performance jump from the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip is no joke—the phone operates with zero hesitation, whether I'm aggressively multitasking between a dozen open apps or running demanding, maxed-out mobile games. It holds high framerates effortlessly, stays remarkably cool under a heavy load thanks to the upgraded vapor chamber, and the battery easily sails through a full day of heavy use. Plus, the slightly slimmer design and more rounded corners mean it finally feels comfortable to hold during long sessions.
My feelings on the new built-in Privacy Display option are a bit mixed, though. On one hand, it’s incredibly nice for total peace of mind when you're in public and want to block curious eyes from snooping on your screen. On the other hand, it definitely still has room to grow. Because it's a hardware-level filter baked into the screen, it restricts your viewing angles even when you don't want it to, causing the display to look a bit dim or washed out if the phone is just sitting off to the side on your desk while you try to look at it.
If you can look past the premium price tag and the giant camera array on the back, the raw power and fluid performance make it a joy to use every day, even if the new display tech needs a minor tweak in the next generation.

Amazing flagship with everything you could want

I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra for a couple of weeks now, and honestly, it’s one of the best phones I’ve ever owned.
Pros:
✔️ Display is incredible – The screen is bright, super smooth, and looks amazing whether you're watching videos or scrolling. Definitely top-tier.
✔️ Camera is outstanding – Photos come out sharp and vibrant, and the zoom is seriously impressive. Night mode is also much better than previous models.
✔️ Super fast performance – No lag at all. Apps open instantly, and multitasking feels effortless. Great for gaming too.
✔️ Battery lasts all day – Even with heavy use, I rarely need to recharge before the end of the day. Fast charging is a big plus.
✔️ Premium feel – Solid build quality and sleek design. Feels like a true high-end device.
If you want the best of the best and don’t mind paying for it, the S26 Ultra delivers. It’s powerful, beautiful, and packed with features. Highly recommend for anyone upgrading from an older device or looking for a true flagship experience.

Love the upgraded Galaxy AI features!

This phone gets as much (or more) use than my tablet & laptop: I can do everything on it that I do on them -- including IT support for customers. I got the 512GB option, so have plenty of storage for files, pictures, music & apps. LOVE this phone!
