[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra has truly redefined my daily routine, seamlessly blending powerhouse hardware with a software experience that feels less like a tool and more like a personal assistant. After spending time with it, it’s clear that Samsung isn’t just adding AI features for the sake of it—they’ve built them into the very fabric of how the phone functions, and it makes a world of difference. The AI Experience: My Daily Engine The integration of Galaxy AI has been the most transformative part of my experience. It isn't just a gimmick; it’s something I rely on every single day: Writing & Communication: I’m constantly using Writing Assist to polish my emails and messages. It’s an absolute blessing for ensuring my tone is exactly right, whether I’m handling professional correspondence or casual chats. A quick tap on the three-star icon, and my drafts are instantly clearer and more intelligent. Browsing & Research: As someone who does a lot of reading, Browsing Assist is a lifesaver. It summarizes long, dense articles in the blink of an eye, allowing me to digest information rapidly without wading through unnecessary clutter.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Galaxy AI is much smarter, I can tell it to give me the weather for a specific location for a specific period of time like before traveling to Cancun or other places I'm headed to. Love that this has the stylus that's stored in the device and got a beautiful purple phone. I love when there's colors like sage green and purple or others available. It feels more "me." Still takes amazing and detailed photos with the ability to ask and figure out what I'm looking at...like all the wild grapevines I saw
Honestly, I've only been using it for 2 days and am already regretting this purchase, and I am dreading being locked into paying for this phone now for 3 years. I had the S20 Ultra for 6 years with zero problems. I figured it was time to upgrade and get better camera quality before my old phone was completely outdated. What a mistake!!
For starters, the Vibrate function is basically non-existent. My phone sits on my desk 3 inches from me, and I can't hear the vibrate at all - even on the highest intensity. So I basically now have Silent mode or a Ringtone. Extremely frustrating.
Secondly, most of the reason I liked the Ultra with the S-pen was because you could use the pen on the S20 to trigger the camera for selfies. And for some reason they took that function away on the S26 ?!? Why ?!? Now my option is to hold my palm up at the camera for each shot ??? What ???
And then thirdly, now if you use the object erase feature when editing a photo, it automatically puts a watermark on your photo that says "AI Generated Content". uhhhh..... again..... what?!? Because I removed my dogs leash from a photo ? or something distracting in the background? now there's a watermark on the photo that I took ? You can't be serious.
Listen - I knew I was going to be disappointed that there was no longer a removable micro-SD card. But I assumed that everything else about this phone would be an upgrade after waiting 6 years - and it feels like a downgrade so far. I wish I had just stayed with my S20 and found something else. I can't believe that so many things have gone backwards already in only 48 hours of use. I've always been a loud and proud Samsung supporter - but I don't know after this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I joined the Note family late with the Note 10, and I've been hooked ever since! My S26 Ultra has been an awesome upgrade in design and capabilities, especially with Galaxy AI. I'm a huge fan of the health and briefing experience. I will definitely be holding onto this device for a while, and I can't wait to see what else the S line brings.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the phone and its features especially photography works perfectly, the phone itself misses its premium feel. It does not feel like a flagship but feels like a cheaper samsung in your hands. This review comes especially because I was an avid user of the s23 ultra and the phone had an incredible weight and feel to it. The s pens features also seems diminished. The charging however is so fast, I love that I have to wait max ten mins for my phone to have a decent amount of charge. Hoping the titanium features come back shortly. Since it is a Galaxy AI phone, am excited to be using the AI features too.
