Invasive unwanted features

The product was great, until recent updates. I cant take pictures anymore without AI interference, which makes my images worse. I am unable to turn off the now brief completely and it is using memory and obscuring my wallpaper. The forced integration of Ai into features has completely messed up my predictive text and spelling checks, I want to be able to opt out of the Ai features completely and I can't. I cant have edges on my wallpapers so it crops them incorrectly and won't let me edit them correctly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The best Galaxy phone I've owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy S26 Ultra is easily the best smartphone I have ever owned. The display is incredibly bright and smooth, making everything from streaming movies to gaming feel premium. Battery life easily gets me through a full day, even with heavy use, and the performance has been consistently fast with no slowdowns.
The camera system is outstanding. Photos are sharp, colors look natural, and low-light performance is excellent. The S Pen continues to be one of my favorite features for taking notes, editing photos, and staying productive.
Galaxy AI has quickly become part of my daily routine. The AI writing tools, translation features, photo editing, and search capabilities save time and make everyday tasks easier. Instead of feeling like a gimmick, Galaxy AI genuinely improves how I use my phone.
Samsung has created a device that excels in productivity, entertainment, and creativity. If you're looking for a flagship phone that does everything well, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is an outstanding choice. I would recommend it without hesitation.

Don't change to 26 if you have the 25. Not a huge difference. And the SPen no longer works as a shutter button. Had i had known this i would have never upgraded. It's not even a big deal to have it so why take it away??? I don't think I'll upgrade to Samsung again if it doesn't come back.

I love the features, especially the AI!

I use it for streaming shows and music plus finances and it has yet to let me down. I really enjoy the AI features and how it makes things so much easier and faster. The best Samsung Galaxy flagship phone yet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy AI features, far from being a buzzword or a cute addon, were useful context-sensitive features that surfaced information about my day, what was coming up, and helpful hints that I didn't even know I needed. Very seamless and info-packed for me.
The speed and performance were fast and buttery smooth--even beyond the fact that I upgraded from an Galaxy S21 Ultra (about a 4.5 year old phone).
The camera, and the Galaxy AI features that enhance photos, or make them look professional are ridiculously powerful.
I've been a Samsung customer since the Galaxy S6: with their always leading the mobile phone game, my loyalty is not misplaced. They beat out the competition at most every turn.
