The phone is worth the upgrade just for the battery. It last about 4 times as long as my Galaxy S-22 did. I've not kept time but I feel I've been on the phone more and the battery is lasting 2 days. Before it would not last one day.
Overall the S26 Ultra is another hit from Samsung. The screen is smaller than the S24 Ultra but the S26 Ultra is lighter in weight. There are new features on the S26 and some of the features of the S24 were deleted from the S26.In the end it all balances out and one would be satisfied with either model.
I have trouble with the touchscreen. Frequently need to tap letters multiple times to send texts and emails. Frustrating. May have to return this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My experience with the AT&T store in Greenville, AL was a nightmare. I purchased a Galaxy S26+ online with store pickup. I live about 40 miles from Greenville and made the trip to pick up the phone. The pickup seemly went well; however, the transaction was botched by the store rep. I had to make three additional trips to the store and eventually returned the phone for an exchange of another S26+ to resolve the issue.

Making a 40-mile trip to pick up your Samsung Galaxy S26+, only to have the transaction mishandled and then having to return to the Greenville, AL store three more times, is incredibly frustrating. I had the Galaxy S23+ for 3 years without any issues whatsoever. Just thought I'd go with a with the new 26+ as soon as it was released. Slightly larger screen, larger battery and better performance. No complaints. Works great!! Highly recommended.
