Galaxy S26 For Older Adults

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in the 55 to 70 years old demographic. I purchased my S26 to replace my S21 this spring. As an older adult I wanted a phone that delivered quality call experiences, texting, email, and photography. I am grading my S26 to be a 5 out of 10, not because my phone fails at these applications, but because it does these things in convoluted and complicated ways. Unfortunately, all of the factory installed apps interface with Galaxy AI. I despise AI. If I could delete it from my phone I would. For me, AI only frustrates me and makes using my phone much more complicated than it needs to be. I would encourage Samsung to be more sensitive to older users who aren't as technologically savvy as our children and grandchildren but who want to stay connected with our relations. To me, GalaxyAI does not help.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my phone I love galaxy ai. I love creating pictures with it taking videos and the phone itself is easy to navigate.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely hate this phone.. everything about it. It's too small and the way it works is terrible. This Bixby thing is a joke and I just hate it but now I'm stuck with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The camera in this unit is phenomenal. Take care of my wife's wounds daily. Pictures have to taken and given to Dr for accessment. It has become a wonderful tool.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Galaxy AI is one of my favorite features on this phone. With just a swipe I can find whatever it is on my screen on the internet. It becomes especially useful when I'm looking at different outfits for the gym in workout videos. I have found more than once to find exactly what I'm looking for or something very similar to what the person was wearing. This phone is very fast and I'm able to use multiple apps at one time without losing any bandwidth. No weird pausing in the middle of videos or anything like that. And just as quickly I can switch to the next app and continue watching a different video I was watching earlier in the day. I like to use my phone to record videos while I'm working out in the gym and I experience amazing Clarity with the videos and photos, almost professional quality. I'm able to see the definition in my muscles which is what I'm going for in the first place which is amazing. I also love to take pictures of my sweet puppy and all of her funny poses. She has beautiful eyes and very bright teeth and every photo comes out striking, and captures every element I'm trying to highlight about her.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not like most people and have social media, so I am not on my phone all the time, but I can tell you I can go 2 days without charging it. This phone has been good for the year I have had.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Samsung 26, I have always been a Samsung user since 2012. I would ever change a Samsung for any other brand.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy AI features are very nice and I do use them for verifying photos while commuting.
Though I originally purchased this phone due to its size because I come from using the bigger Samsung Note line that turns into the Samsung ultra line and I just wanted a phone that could fit in my pocket without any issues this time around.
With that said I fully understand that I had to sacrifice some processing speed as well as other things for the form factor but they are still negatives outside of that.
Unfortunately the negatives are the ability to multitask. I do experience some lagging and from time to time the app itself will shut down when I try to multitask within the app let alone multiple apps at one time.
Now that I'm typing everything out to be honest that's really my only negative so I don't have anything else lol.
Outside of that negative that I spoke about I believe the Samsung Galaxy s26 baseline model is phenomenal.
