[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Came from the S24 half-expecting "more of the same." But wowwwww S26 is lighter, feels amazing to hold, and the Galaxy AI has gone from cool party trick to something I actually can use. Tried photo editing with a voice prompt, smarter search and amazed it all works. Feel really really great about this one, if you are still thinking, go for it.. won't regret.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone is like any other phone with basically the same functions. Battery, size, screen, etc are all ok. Galaxy AI is like any other AI, and I'd rather not use it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have just upgraded from my Samsung S22. This new Samsung S26 blows it out of the water with so many new features included Galaxy AI. It's the best phone for any demanding applications and makes playing mobile games a breeze. I'm very happy upgrading and look forward to using this for the next four years.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Phone is very fast and the display is beautiful. Ai is quick to respond and easily accessible. Love the size and feel.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The software in this new phone is a step back compared to my previous device (z flip 5). It lost customization options I made use of previously, such as the ability to hide the battery charge percentage from the status bar, while becoming significantly more pushy with "Galaxy AI". I do not want to use these silly AI features, stop asking. I don't care how much money Samsung has wasted chasing this market trend, I don't want my product to be made actively-worse to justify their bad investments. The number of pre-installed apps I do not want also increased, as did the count of advertisements disguised as push notifications.
Additionally, the phone is too large. The base-model S series was the last premium-quality phone that could reasonably be called "small" on the market (despite still being about 20% larger than I'd like), and this entry (the S26) increased the size. Either make it smaller again or, ideally, release a "Mini" variant. The market for such phones isn't large, but it's completely ignored by every other smartphone maker, so would be captive to Samsung. Regardless, the size increase is unappreciated.
