Not sure if they’re ready for prime time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Alright! These clips are pretty cool! Nice solid case and design. Easy, fast, connection. I do feel the sound quality on this set is not what I expect from JBL. They don’t sound and clear despite having lossless audio playing through them. Additionally I noticed they were not playing immediately and were pausing every couple minutes randomly when I first started playing them. Battery life after an hour went from 74 to 45. Seems very adequate. They feel like you’re not wearing anything on your ears, super light and comfortable. You may be wondering how they fit on the ears and my 4th picture should help you understand how they sit in the ears.

Thank you for your feedback on our JBL Soundgear Clips. To fix the random pauses, let's initiate a product reset. With both earbuds on and not charging, tap the sensor twice and hold it on the third tap for more than 5 seconds. You may need to 'forget' the headphones in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet in order to pair them again. You may contact our customer support for further assistance.

Comfortable, long battery, clear sounds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Didn't realize how much I'd end up liking these. They go around the backside of the ear and honestly I can't even feel they are there. The sound quality and really good for their size and even with the openness of them, they block out a lot of ambient noises and I hear my calls and music clearly. I've worn the. All day a few times with no discomfort or had the batteries die. The case has a nice magnetic capture and charges them quickly. Very simple to connect to the JBL app and my phone pluetooth.

JBL Soundgear Clips - Innovative On The Go Earbud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new JBL Soundgear Clips are an excellent, simple to use, comfortable and great sounding alternative to in-ear wireless earbuds! At first, I was a bit skeptical about the comfort due to the new style, but am beyond impressed. Most earbuds are an in ear type of design and deliver a similar listening experience to a closed back headphone. These new JBLs utilize Opensound Technology, which is an experience more like open back headphones. While in ear style buds can deliver more noise isolation, less sound leakage and more bass, they also cam be uncomfortable for long periods of time. The SG Clips produce an aery, natural wise soundstage for a more relaxing listening experience amd less ear fatigue for long term listening. Combine this sound quality with a comfortable design and the ability the hear the world around you, making the Soundgear Clips perfect for on the go usage for longer periods of time! 9/10

Love and Hate Relationship

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look of these ear clips. They are cute and comfortable. The sound is amazing and clear. The battery is really good each clip individually will last about 8 hours without charging. My issues with the device is that they shut off after an hour of use. You have to place them on the base and then you can place them back on your ear. They also will not connect to the JBL app even after following the steps to do a reset. They do not come with a charger.

To reduce electronic waste, our JBL Soundgear Clips and other newer JBL products don't include a charging cable. Feel free to use any USB-C cable and power adapter with a power rating of at least 5 volts and 3 amps that you have at home. The unit shutting off after an hour of use is not normal. Please try to fully charge the earbuds for 2 hours and see if this behavior still happens. For the issues connecting with the JBL Headphones App, try to clear cache, uninstall the app, reboot your source device, reinstall the app, make sure to allow permissions, reset your Soundgear Clips by tapping twice, then hold for five seconds, and try pairing them again, and check if this fixes the issue. Worth the wait

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let’s get right into it. Good things: they don’t feel like they will fall out. They allow you to hear ambient noise without sacrificing sound quality. Amazing battery life. An app that works!
The bad: I couldn’t answer a phone call with a voice command. The case, while attractive is a bit large, I found it cumbersome if I needed to carry it in my pocket. Gestures take some practice to hit right in one shot without fumbling around a bit.
Bottom line: I love em. Go get you some.

Great open-ear style headphones

They are great for wearing whenever I'm around people and need to hear them or anything else in my surroundings. The sound quality is great, although if you're in a loud environment you'll have to turn the volume up a lot to hear it well. Everywhere else, they're a big win. Comfort is top notch too, and they stay in place well. I'll be using these a lot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are hands down, my favorite headphones I’ve ever worn. My ears are small and in-ear headphones just never fit for long, they always fall out. But not theses! The way they sit in your ear is actually genius. And I love that they don’t completely block out all other sound. I can hear my music and phone calls great, but I can also be aware of my surroundings. Thank you JBL for finally making headphones I can wear for hours!
