Love the phone, battery does not last worth beans. Needs more powerful battery.

I use this phone mostly for business; therefore, MS Office and other apps are very important to me. They load flawlessly and also connect to clouds and dropbox effortlessly. I use Verizon, and my internet and wi-fi capabilities are dependable in the majority of the U.S.A.
My son is an athlete and I use the camera/video feature with ease.
A tremendous number of apps work on the Android platform, too. I am very pleased with this phone/computer and highly recommend it.

Moving on from S6 to S8+

I own other Samsung products but this is the first Samsung phone I've had. I have to say I've enjoyed it for the past year and a half but it's time to move on, can't wait to get the S8+.

Really enjoy using the S6

The new operating system (OS) upgrade in May 2017 solved the battery problems I had been having. It now charges faster and holds the charge much longer. All the features are great.

Stupid Senseless Android OS Updates

Phone is nice, but hampered by stupid and useless Android OS updated. The latest, version 7, added multiple confirmations to delete a text message and add/edit a contact. Plus, everything is now just a little slower. Who vets this stuff? Software updates are supposed to correct problems and add value, not add time and complexity.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, stupid os updates
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the look, speed, and features of the phone.
The only thing I can complain about is it does get a bit hot when you have an app in the background running but I try to keep the open and active apps to a minimum and it's not really an issue since this happens to most phones.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

This is now an older model phone. Before optimizing the battery life was nil - glad it had the "app sleep" feature that was easy to use and now my battery can last the day. Otherwise, performance is totally fine, the apps work, some of the set up was tedious and the app organization is a bit annoying. Getting the phone set up just the way I want it has been more of a chore than I'd like, but it all works. The volume button doesn't seem as responsive (I'm increasing the volume and yet my call isn't getting much louder until the end). Some apps only work on 4G, others only when connected to wifi - a way to adjust this isn't obvious. Everything takes investigation and time. Overall, I think this is a phone I'll like once I finally solve these small problems - good solid performance and easy to use the main things right out of the box.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive
